The next day, Hiroki went to hospital with Kai and Itsuki for his regular check up. Mikasa was waiting for him there.
Hiroki saw her and smiled brightly," You are here."
Mikasa smiled in response.
Kai didn't like this at all and said," Who are you? And why are you here?"
Hiroki," She is Mikasa my best friend."
"I asked her."
Mikasa talked with Kai with the same tone as he was talking," Mikasa. Hiroki's best friend. I came here for the appointment."
Kai snorted," Well, Ms.Mikasa you don't need to come here. We are completely capable of taking care of Hiroki. So please leave."
Itsuki sighed slightly.
Mikasa smiled," I am here for Hiroki. And Hiroki gets to decide wether he wants me here or not. Not you."
Kai glared at her.
Itsuki," Stop it Kai. We are here for check up and not to fight with her. "
Kai didn't say anything further.
Itsuki looked at Mikasa and said," I am Itsuki Kamazura. It's nice to meet you."
Mikasa liked Itsuki so she also replied back politely," It's nice to meet you too. And also I know who you are. Saw it on news many times."
Hiroki was estatic when he saw Itsuki and Mikasa were getting along. He felt as if someone from Kamazura's was accepting his choices. Kai looked at Hiroki's expression and couldn't help feeling guilty. He thought to himself,' I am an idiot. Why did I want to pick up a fight with his friend?'
After some time, Hiroki went in for check up while the trio waited outside.
Kai cleared his throat and asked Mikasa," Since when do you know him?"
Miakasa replied plainly," Since we were in college. I was his senior."
"So you also studied in same college as him."
"Not only same college but we were also in same office."
"So you know him for very long time."
"Yeah maybe 5-6 years."
Kai hesitated for a moment and said," I am sorry. I shouldn't have talked like that with you."
Mikasa looked at him blankly.
Kai asked," What?"
Mikasa shook her head and said," I just didn't expect that The Kai Kamazura would say sorry to low class person like me. I was just surprised. But I accept your apology."
