Chapter 44- Do you know why I accepted this case?

The trio reached Kamazura mansion. Hiroki said," Why don't you come in? Hikaru will be happy to see you."

Kirihitho and Tatsuya looked at each other and then shook their heads. Tatsuya," We need to go back. We have a dinner appointment with my family."

Hiroki's eyes widened," Oh! Right! You must have your own schedule. I am so sorry for causing you trouble. And thank you for today."

Tatsuya laughed and tapped Hiroki's forehead gently with two fingers. He said," It was our choice to stay with you. No need to apologise. Are you going somewhere tomorrow? We will come with you."

Hiroki," No! I can't ask you to come with me. What you did today was more than enough. I can manage by myself."

Kirihitho," But we are not giving you an option. We will come tommorow at 9am to pick you up. Then, take care."

Before Hiroki could say anything, they both left. Hiroki just stood there, dumbfounded. After sometime he walked in the mansion and couldn't help smiling while thinking of the events that happened. Rarely any person had stood up for him like how Kirihitho and Tatsuya did. Just thinking about it made him extremely happy.

"What are you smiling about?"

Hiroki was startled and looked towards the person's direction.

"Nothing.", Hiroki replied dryly.

Mirai walked near him and asked," What were you doing with Kirihitho and Tatsuya?"

"They just dropped me off. Nothing else."

Mirai coldly said," I hope there was nothing else. Remember that they are Hikaru, your brother's partners."

"I know."

Hiroki walked away from her. He didn't want to spoil his mood because of Mirai. He walked in his room and saw utter darkness. He chuckled. His room was just like him, dark and gloomy. He switched on the lights and went in the bathroom.

He stood in front of the mirror and looked at his reflection. He started laughing like a maniac and didn't stop for good fifteen minutes. When he finally stopped, he got closer to the mirror and said," Do you like your brother's boyfriends just because they stood up for you today? Do you think you deserve them? A murderer like you don't deserve anything but hatred! Why didn't you die? Why aren't you dead yet? It would have been better! Just kill yourself. No one will suffer."

He started splashing water on his face. He didn't stop until he heard a knock on the bathroom door.

Aunt Min's voice came from outside," Hiro, are you alright? You have been in there for long time. Is something hurting?"

Hiroki," No, I will be out in five minutes."

"Okay. Your dinner is ready. Come quickly before it gets cold."

Hiroki came out of bathroom and saw Aunt Min standing near the table. He looked at her and smiled. Aunt Min also gave him a small smile and dragged him near the table and made him eat in front of her. Hiroki didn't eat much as he had a very less appetite. He used to separate the food which he wanted to eat and then used to keep the rest besides resulting in more than half portion of the food untouched. Therefore, Aunt Min always made him eat in front of her so that he will at least half portion of the food, which was a very difficult task for her as Hiroki always avoided the extra food which she gave him by moving his plate here and there.

Finally, the dinner was over and Aunt Min started cleaning up the table. She hesitated for a while but finally asked," Hiro, are you having a hard time? You can always talk with me."

Hiroki," No I am not having hard time. I am fine. Don't worry. It's just stress of the case I am handling."

Aunt Min was sceptical of this response but didn't ask anything further. She left after clearing the table.

Hiroki took out his laptop and pen drive and started watching the footage. Unknowingly, he fell asleep while watching it.

The next day, Hiroki woke up at 8 am and was very sluggish. He brushed his teeth for 45mins. and then again fell asleep on the table. A knock woke him up. A servant came inside and said," Sir, Mr.Kirihitho and Mr.Tatsuya are waiting for you."

Hiroki was wide awake. He forgot about it. He quickly changed his clothes and speed walked towards the main room where they were waiting.

He barged in the room and immediately said," I am sorry!"

"What are you sorry about?"

Hiroki looked up and saw his entire family sitting there. He blushed in embarrassment and stuttered,"I-I........"

He looked at the servant who called him and whispered," Why didn't you say entire Kamazura mansion is waiting?"

Servant immediately bowed his head and said," I am sorry."

"Ah! Don't apologise. It's my fault." He looked at his family and smiled sheepishly and started rubbing his cheeks.

Hakuto," Eat your breakfast and take the medicines, first."

Hiroki nodded. He went in dinning room and started eating when Hikaru came followed by Kirihitho and Tatsuya. Hikaru asked," Brother, where are you going today? For investigating?"

"Haru's college."

Hikaru," Then, why don't you come with us? I mean me, Kirihitho and Tatsuya. We are going to my college. And Haru's and my college are adjacent."

Tatsuya teased him," Yeah, why don't you come with us?"

Hiroki glared at him and said," Okay."

Tatsuya chuckled," Sweet."

The four reached the university. As soon as Hiroki got out of car, everyone present nearby started looking at him. Most of people were already aware that Hiroki was the unitroduced child of Kamazura's and also the lawyer who accepted Mami's case.

Some people started wispering among themselves.

"Hey, isn't he that son of Kamazura? The one on internet?"

"Yeah! He is! Damn, he is so good looking. I guess, the most handsome and beautiful of Kamazura siblings."

"Maybe his beauty must be the reason for not introducing him to public or else he would have already become someone's spouse by now."

"I know! Pfft!"

Hikaru heard this conversation and glared at them. They lowered their eyes and went back to do their own work.

Hikaru stood near Hiroki who was looking at his phone. He said," Brother, are you sure about what you are doing?"

Hiroki looked at him in confusion.

Hikaru," About fighting this case. After all, Haru is involved in this. I mean, what if-"

Hiroki cut him in mid-sentence," Have you also assumed that Haru is one of the murderers?"

"..."

Hiroki sighed," Do you know when I accepted this case, I knew that Haru would never do such thing. She can sometimes bully but she is not someone to rape and murder people. In fact,I accepted this case not for Mami but for Haru. To prove her innocent."
