Chapter 33- You don't have to face it all alone

After some time Hiroki stopped crying. He looked at Mikasa with tears still in his eyes and on face and said," Well that was embarrassing."

Mikasa couldn't help laughing and hit his shoulder slightly.

She said," I have no idea what you have went through all these years but from now on you don't have to face any difficulties all alone, okay? If times are hard for you, you can always rely on me. I promise I won't leave you alone. I am and will always be there for you. Never ever forget that."

Hiroki showed Mikasa his toothy smile which she had never seen before. She was so amazed by Hiroki's beautiful smile that she stared at him in daze.

She unconsciously said," You are beautiful."

Hiroki's eyes widened and his cheeks and ears started turning red. Mikasa laughed at Hiroki's reaction and teased him," Oh. Is our Hiroki blushing? Why? No one ever said to you that you are very good looking?"

Hiroki started rubbing his cheeks and said," Not out of nowhere."

Mikasa was laughing and Hiroki was telling her to stop when door to the hospital room opened. They both automatically shifted their gaze to the intruder. Hiroki was surprised and Mikasa was shocked to see who the intruder.

Shin," Hello Hiroki. My sir sent me he-"

Shin stopped talking when she saw Mikasa sitting at side. She frozed in her place. Hiroki noticed this and said," Shin this is Mikasa, my best friend. And Mikasa this is Shin. Mr.Tatsuya's secretary."

Shin and Mikasa stared at each other for quite some time. Hiroki had no idea what was going on so he just sat there awkwardly. Mikasa abruptly stood up and said to Hiroki," I need to leave. I will call you later. Take care, okay? And contact me if you need anything. Bye." She kissed him on his forehead and started leaving.

Just as she was passing Shin, Shin grabbed her hand and said," Where have you been? Why did you suddenly leave? You didn't even contact me! Whe-"

Mikasa," Let go of me. We don't have to do this in front of Hiroki."

Shin was mad when she heard Hiroki's name. She said mockingly," Oh! Now you have found new sugar daddy? Why? Was I not enough for you? What a s**t. You really-"

Hiroki cut her off in mid-senetnce," What do you think you are saying?! Have you gone insane to say such disgusting things to Mikasa?!"

Shin was even more annoyed when she saw Hiroki defending Mikasa," Hiroki Kamazura. You really disgust me. Not only are you trying to get in pants of my sirs but you are also keeping a sugar baby outside. How can you have so much confidence to do such things? Can you give me some tips? Oh no! Wait! But I don't want to snatch any of my brothers' boyfriend so please mi-"

Mikasa had enough of this bulls**t. She yanked her arm out of Shin's grip, turned her around and slapped her(Shin) hard across the face.

Shin held her slapped cheek in surprise. She never thought Mikasa would hit her. She stared at Mikasa in shock and trance.

Mikasa said angrily," If you hold grudges against me then take out your anger on me. But if you dared to bring Hiroki in middle of this, remember" she walked closer to Shin's face" I will destroy you."

Shin was indeed intimidated by Mikasa's tone and sentence. She again held Mikasa's arm and changed her tone completely," Please listen to me. I didn't mean to anger you. I was just jealous with how much close you both are. Please, please believe in me."

"Jealous? Who are you to be jealous of the relationship I have with anyone? Anyways, I don't want to waste my time with you. Hiroki, I will be leaving."

Hiroki nodded.

Before Shin could say anything, Mikasa already left. Shin also left the room to chase after Mikasa.

Hiroki just sat there in trance. By what happened just then, he had rough idea about the relationship between Mikasa and Shin but he didn't assume anything. He decided to ask Mikasa about this later.

Noman was reading through Hiroki's medical records. At first, he was surprised but later became angry. He stared at Hiroki's record for some time and called Hakuto to immediately come to hospital.

He went to Hiroki's room and did regular check-up on Hiroki but didn't leave after doing so as usual. He stared at Hiroki quietly as if judging him or evaluating him.

Hiroki was annoyed with this and asked with irritation," What is it? Why are you staring at me?"

Noman said," You are hiding many things from your family, aren't you?"

Hiroki looked at him in confusion.

Noman," When did you find out about your heart's condition?"

Hiroki was silent at first but later realised something. He said very calmly," You did a background check on me?"

"No, not on you but your medical records."

"Anyways, this has got nothing to do with you. You have been appointed as my doctor just two weeks ago so don't try to dig up my past records because it is irrelevant. If there was something worth telling I would have told you a long time ago."

"..."

"So, keep your mouth shut and don't tell anything to my parents." Hiroki smiled" Don't try to get on bad side of mine. It won't do any benefit to you."

Noman stared at him and nodded.

Hakuto came to hospital with Kai and Itonome. The trio entered Hiroki's room to find tense atmosphere.

Hakuto asked Noman," Why did you suddenly contact me to come here?"

Noman," Sit. I will tell you everything."

Hiroki was sceptical about Noman but didn't say anything in front Hakuto. He let them settle down and waited for Noman to spat out whatever nonsense he was going to tell.

Noman," Hiroki, how long has it been that you are on waiting list?"
