Chapter 9 - Sister

Hiroki was really shocked after he reached Kirihitho's office. Since he met these two nothing in his life is going normal.

Hiroki was petrified at what he saw. He really didn't think that he will meet this person so unexpectedly.

"Sister!"

Mikarin turned her head and looked at Hiroki very coldly. There were unreadable emotions in her eyes.

She said," I am not your sister."

Hiroki was really happy when he first saw her but after seeing her gaze and the way she talked , Hiroki knew something was wrong.

He said," But you are my sister. I have been tr-"

Mikarin said ,cutting him off," I need to leave Kirihitho. I didn't think you will play such a cheap trick with me."

Kirihitho said," I just wanted him to have reality check that you don't want to see him and doesn't care for him."

Hiroki interrupted their conversation," But why? You just suddenly left 6 years ago without even saying anything to me. No one was ready to tell me about you . I tried so hard for last 6 years to find you , to ask you why did you suddenly leave , what was the reason!"

Mikarin angrily said," What was the reason? You still act so innocent, don't you? You destroyed not only my happiness by what you did but everyone else's happiness who I know. My family, my girlfriend and now my best friends too. You really are a leech. Just the difference between you and leech is that it sucks blood and you suck happiness & love out of anything  for your survival!"

Hiroki was devastated after he heard Mikarin. She was his best sister who always protected him , cared for him , loved him more than anything. This person standing in front of him cannot be Mikarin. She will never say such cruel words to him. He refused to believe this person is his sister. 

Hiroki was breathing unevenly but he still tried to talk with her just to know the reason.

"Why would you say that? What did I do to make you hate me so much? "

Mikarin noticed his uneven breathing but ignored it and replied even more coldly," Hiroki you really amaze me by your acting. She was right. You really are monster hiding in angel's clothing."

Hiroki didn't have any strength left in him to continue the conversation. Now he knew, his best sister hated him just like every one else. 

He just went quiet.

Mikarin wanted to continue but seeing Hiroki's defeated face , she didn't have the heart to continue. Even if today's Hiroki , according to her, is a cruel bastard but the past one definitely wasn't. She loved her brother dearly......but that brother is long gone. This person standing in front of her isn't her brother but a monster who destroyed everyone's happiness.

She said to Kirihitho," Next time don't contact me for such cheap reasons. " 

While she was leaving Hiroki asked her ," Can we meet again? Please."

" Never. I don't want to see your face ever again." And she left.

Hiroki looked in the direction from where Mikarin left . He wanted to chase after her to clear the misunderstanding s but his legs didn't have any strength left in them and his mind was extremely exhausted. 

He said to Kirihitho," Can you give me five minutes and after that we can continue our meeting."

Kirihitho nodded.

Hiroki went in the direction of washroom. His legs were shaking. Kirihitho noticed this and for split second he felt guilty for what he did today.

In the washroom, Hiroki splashed cold water on his face many times. He looked in the mirror and hated what he saw. He really wanted to cry his heart out but the tears refused to fall. He asked himself repeatedly what did he do wrong , why did everyone hated him, was it because of that incident. Yeah, it must be it . That's why his mother and father hated him, that's why his sister hated him, that's why he was thrown out his house.

It was all his fault. It was due to him that his family was destroyed. It was only his fault and no one was to blame for it. He deserved all the pain he is going through right now. He deserved every bad thing happening to him because he is a monster, a leech.

His chest was really hurting him. It was so bad that he couldn't breath properly but then also decided to go to Kirihitho's office and tell him that he won't be able to handle this case.

When Hiroki came back from washroom, Kirihitho was terrified by what he saw. Just few minutes ago Hiroki looked like he will collapse anytime but now he was smiling at Kirihitho as if nothing happened. This was really an odd behavior.

Hiroki said," I want tell you something. I can't lead this case . I am sorry."

Kirihitho said," Why? Is it because of the incident which happened today? "

"No, I came here with intention of telling you this. My decision has got nothing to do by what happened today."

"Aren't you getting ahead of yourself? If you lead this case , you know very well it will boost your career. It's a winning situation for you."

" Even if it is winning situation for me I still don't want to lead this case. I lack in knowledge and have really less experience. And right now I am not capable of taking such big case."

"Okay."

"..."

Hiroki didn't believe in his ears. Did Kirihitho Nakamura just let him decline his offer that easily without getting offended?

Hiroki asked,"Are you serious?"

"Yes. You can leave . I will talk to Mr.Mikato about it."

Hiroki felt something was fishy but didn't say anything and left his office.

After Hiroki left, Kirihitho's expressions rapidly changed. From being calm to anger and from anger to hatred.

He called Mikato and said," Your employees really think high of themselves. What do you mean by what happened . You just sent your employee to humiliate me , didn't you?

Then fire Hiroki if you don't want to lose this case.........
