Chapter 75- I behaved So Selfishly

Mikarin scoffed,"Ah! Now you are trying to act innocent? Why? To gain sympathy?"

Hiroki laughed. He said with hatred," No no no. Believe me. If I wanted to gain sympathy, you will be the last one I will seek that from." He turned towards Hakuto and continued," This is the reason I don't want to tell you anything. Because every time something happens to me there is a fight between someone. I don't want to be the cause of your unhappiness. And stop blaming each other for this because I am the one responsible for what is happening to me and no one else. Okay? You don't need to shout or fight among yourselves. What is happening is already enough for me. I don't want to carry the burden of your fights."

He left after saying this followed by Mia. There was a dead silence in the room. No one knew what to say after his out burst.

Hiroki was in his room getting ready to go to office. Mia was lingering in a corner, wanting to say something. He sighed," What is it, Mia? Want to say something?"

After a long while, she said," Sir, this is the first time I saw you stand for yourselves in front of your family............I was impressed."

Hiroki paused what he was doing and looked at her. He grinned slightly and said," Even I was impressed by myself."

They both stared at each other for sometime and burst into laughter. Hiroki continued what he was doing and they left the mansion.

In his cabin, Kirihitho was waiting for him. Hiroki wasn't much surprised when he saw him there. He put his things down and said," You want to talk about it?"

Kirihitho got up from where he was sitting and walked near him. Hiroki slightly looked up at him in eyes even though there was only half head of height difference between them. They both stared at each other, not knowing what to say. But surprisingly, it wasn't awkward at all. It was something different, good different.

Hiroki's heart was beating very fast. His mouth was slightly open unconsciously and his ears were rosy due to their closeness. Kirihitho found this sight very beautiful and loving (?). He just wanted to kiss Hiroki and hold him tightly in his arms and never let go. He wanted to treasure Hiroki like his entire world. He wanted to do so much more but...... it wasn't right. He was already dating someone. And that someone was the brother of person who Kirihitho fell in love with. Yes! Kirihitho fell in love with Hiroki! When? How? Don't ask! Because even he didn't know when.

On that night, when Hiroki said that he didn't have any problems and he was the cause of everyone else's problem, it hurted Kirihitho. Even though it should not have bothered him so much, it did. It did bother him to see Hiroki in pain. It did bother him to see Hiroki's defeated face. Due to this, he wasn't able to sleep these two nights. He wanted to talk with Hiroki as soon as possible. He wanted to say so many things to him. But now that they were standing in front of each other, he wasn't able to speak at all. It's as if his tongue became paralyzed.

Hiroki cleared his throat and asked," What's wrong?"

Kirihitho snapped out of his thoughts and looked away. He made his mind, looked back at Hiroki and said gently," I just wanted to say that whatever Mikarin said isn't true."

"But you don't know what she said."

Kirihitho lifted up his hand and gently caressed Hiroki's cheek," I know but whatever come out of her mouth about you is never true. I learnt it and even you should."

Hiroki looked at him with such emotions which both of them couldn't explain. They again stared at each other for very long time but were rudely interrupted by Tatsuya's barging in. 

Kirihitho quickly retreated his hand and they both moved away from each other. Of course, none of this went unnoticed by Tatsuya. He frowned and looked at Hiroki with disgust. He came here to check on Hiroki but was met with this sight. He completely forgot what he came here for, held Kirihitho tightly and dragged him out of Hiroki's office after passing a deathly glare to Hiroki.

He dragged Kirihitho all the way to his office but tried to act normal when others would pass them. When they finally reached his office, he threw Kirihitho on the sofa and leaned over him. His eyes were almost spitting fire. Kirihitho wasn't scared would be a lie. He was scared, a lot. This is the second time in his life he had seen Tatsuya so mad.

Tatsuya asked with as much calmness as possible," What were you doing?"

"..."

He punched the sofa and stood straight. He paced back and forth in the room while  scolding Kirihitho with venomous voice," I knew something was going on since that day you touched Hiroki's cheek in the hospital. No, maybe way before that." He took a sharp turn towards Kirihitho and continued," Did you forget what he did to Mikarin's girlfriend? Did you forget what he did to Hikaru? Did you forget what he did to his own family? No matter how amazing he is in his professional life, we can't forget that he is a f**king trash in his personal life! And you grew feelings for him! Are you out of your bloody mind?!"

Kirihitho got up and argued," Yes! I indeed develop feelings for him! And it's not in my hand, okay! And how can you say such things to me when you also have fallen in love with him!"

"What the hell does that suppose to mean?!"

Kirihitho scoffed," Don't pretend. If you hate him so much, then why the hell did you write that letter to him, huh? Not only that but there are many other things which you did for him. Do you want me say every single of those things? Of course it cannot be because of professionalism! You-"

"Just because of a damn letter you assumed that I fell for him? I didn't write that letter to him because I love him, I wrote that letter to him so that he won't cause any hindrance in our work because of his emotional  instability. I just thought about us and this company."

Kirihitho didn't know what to say. He was completely lost now. 

Tatsuya walked near him and hugged him tightly. He said with gentleness," Kirihitho, don't be like this. It's my task to be an idiot not yours. And those feelings you are saying that you have for Hiroki isn't love but guilt. Don't equal this two, okay? ..........We have a really lovely boyfriend who truly deserves to be with us. Don't hurt him."

Kirihitho also hugged him back and said," Maybe you are right. They aren't feelings of love but guilt. I am sorry. I behaved so selfishly."

"It's okay. But don't do this again."
