Chapter 39- A lot has happened in Past

Mikasa," Maybe or maybe not. I just heard the conversation between him and his doctor, that also secretly. So I don't know. Maybe he might have known about it but didn't think it was severe. You know, lack of seriousness."

Mikasa sighed," But that doesn't irke me as much as his hypocritical father and mother. They just pretend to care for him."

"How can you say that?"

"Why can't I? Think about it, if they would have actually cared for Hiroki due you think his condition would be so terrible today. He had attacks two times. And both of the time his family was involved."

Kirihitho frowned," How come they were involved for first time? They didn't even have contact with each other at that time!"

Mikasa looked at Kirihitho as if he was dumb," If they wouldn't have suddenly disowned Hiroki without even telling him, do you think he would have to decide between medicines and studies? If they were so eager to disown him, they should have at least told him before hand so he would have been able to save some money. But no, those hypocrites just didn't want him to live his life. I just sometimes wonder, how can any mother or father don't care for or love their own child? I mean how can they even live when they hurt their own son so much. And I guess, it wasn't the first time. I just feel so bad for him."

Kirihitho was confused, irritated and sad. He had no idea what Hiroki had went through all these years. He was feeling even more guilty for what he did to Hiroki. He rubbed his hands on his face in frustration.

He looked at Mikasa and asked," How come you know so much about him? As far as I know, Hiroki is very conservative. He doesn't like to talk about his family or past."

Mikasa laughed," You are indeed right. What I told you today may not be the complete truth. There must be more to this but I never brought it up in front of him. He didn't like to talk about it so I never questioned him about it. And you too. Don't try to dig up his past. If time ever comes, he will tell us everything. But don't try to invade his privacy. And don't tell him that I said so many things about him to you."

Kirihitho wanted to know more but Mikasa was right. He shouldn't invade Hiroki's privacy. So he just nodded.

Mikasa smiled," Sweet. Now I am off to fight those bodyguards again. Those bi**hes won't allow me to meet Hiroki. But they don't know, no can stop me. Bye Mr.Nakamura. And also thanks for caring for Hiroki."

Mikasa left after saying this but Kirihitho stood their for long time. He was feeling extremely guilty. He promised himself on that day to never ever hurt Hiroki, no matter what!

Two weeks later

Hiroki was really happy today and said," Finally! Finally I am leaving this hell hole!"

Noman looked at his exicted face and couldn't help teasing him," Don't be so happy. You have to visit hospital every week for check up."

Hiroki wasn't bothered by his statement at all and replied with sassy tone," Yeah! But I don't have to stay here for a complete month anymore."

Noman shake his head with a smile.

Hiroki also teased him," Don't miss me, okay?"

Noman chuckled," Who is going to miss you? I am actually very relieved that you are leaving. Actually, I am going to celebrate today that you are finally leaving."

Hiroki laughed," Okay. Just don't drink too much. You can't handle it."

Noman also laughed. In fact, he was going to miss his sassy patient a lot. He ruffled Hiroki's hair and gave him some instructions. After everything was sort out, he left.

Hiroki changed his clothes and was packing his things up when he thought about the weeks he spend in the hospital. Not much happened but it was enough to tire out Hiroki. Mikasa visited him everday. Even when the bodyguards didn't allow her, she somehow managed to enter his room just to be dragged out in two minutes. Hiroki was weak for few days after his attack so he wasn't able to stop them from taking her away but once he regained his strength, he scolded them for taking Mikasa away. Aahhhh.......what fun times they were. Mikasa always used to giggle when Hiroki would scold them. But the most shocking thing to Hiroki was that Tatsuya and Kirihitho visited him every single day after the attack. With Hikaru or without Hikaru. Hiroki found this strange but at the same time comforting. He smiled unconsciously. At that time, Itonome came in. He asked looking around," All done?"

Hiroki nodded his head and was just going to pick his bag up when Itonome snatched it from him and scolded him," Didn't doctor say you can't pick heavy things? Then also you are attempting to do this stunt. Idiot!"

After scolding him, Itonome called one of the bodyguards and told him to carry the bags. Hiroki just looked at them awkwardly. He wasn't used to ask help from anyone so that's why he decided to pick his own bag even though knowing it was dangerous.

Hiroki and Itonome reached the parking lot with few bodyguards surrounded him. Just when Hiroki was opening the car door, he heard shouts of two women. He looked in their direction and realised that they were shooting at them. Before these two women were able to reach Itonome, they were blocked by bodyguards.

The older looking woman shouted at Itonome," WHAT RIGHT YOU HAVE TO WITHDRAW OUR CASE? ARE YOU AFRAID THAT YOUR SISTER IS ACTUALLY INVOLVED IN MY DAUGHTER'S RAPE AND MURDER?"

Itonome looked at Hiroki who was frowning at the older woman's statement. He said to his bodyguards," Drag them away. And how many times I have told you to not let them stalk us? Are you all dumb or something?"

"Sorry Sir!"

As the both of them were getting dragged away, somehow the younger woman broke free and ran towards Hiroki and asked him," You are  a lawyer, right? Then can't you help us? If your sister is really innocent then accept our case."

Itonome was angry. He shouted at the bodyguards," WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? TAKE THEM AWAY!"

Hiroki," Wait!"

All the bodyguards hesitated.

Itonome walked towards Hiroki and said," What are you doing? Get in the car, Hiroki! You don't need to be involved in this."

The young woman retorded," Why? Isn't he your brother? Then, why can't he be involved? What are you so afraid of, Itonome Kamazura?"

Itonome was going to say something but Hiroki stopped him. He requested him," Let me talk to her. Please."

Itonome looked at Hiroki. He wanted to refuse but looking at his pale face, he couldn't help agreeing.
