Chapter 99- They are Insane

Mikasa and Sou were waiting in the cafe for Hiroki,when Mikasa noticed a black car outside. She sighed to herself,' They really go too far.'

She snapped out of her thoughts when Sou shouted," Uunncclllleee!!!!"

Hiroki smiled at her brightly," My princess! How are you? Did you miss me? I missed you so much."
He crouched down and hugged her tightly.

Sou slapped his arm slightly," Uncle, I can't breathe!"

Hiroki let go and smiled sheepishly," Oh! Sorry, sorry."

Sou touched Hiroki's chest and frowned. It wasn't the stiff, broad chest anymore which she used to love leaning on..... it's weird. She looked at him in confusion while Hiroki gave her a pathetic smile.

Mikasa," Come on, you two. I am still here."

Sou," Hehe.....we didn't miss you."

Hiroki," Yeah, we didn't."

Mikasa rubbed her arms," Oh my! I just got goosebumps. Stop it. I am not gonna hug you."

They all settled down when Hiroki noticed a black car through the glass window. He frowned," That's from Kamazura Mansion. Why is it here?"

Mikasa sighed," Your brother......He told me you want to make me your guardian."

Hiroki shook his head," You already know? Wow, they work fast. So, do you want to? I am not pressurising you. If you don't want to then just say no."

Mikasa chuckled," Why would I say no? It's an honor for me. But, why not your parents, Hiroki?"

".....do we really need to talk about it now?"

"Yes, we do. Or else you will avoid me."

"Okay,............I don't trust them. I have zero trust in them. You can think or say whatever you want but I just*sigh* I cannot trust them so easily. What if they change their mind again and kick me out? What if they will do something harmful to me?"

Mikasa frowned," Why will they do something harmful to you? Yeah, I know what they did was terrible but you are being too paranoid."

"Mikasa, you don't know my family. Once they set their mind to do something to me.......they will not stop until I am miserable."

"What the hell are you saying?"

Hiroki sighed," Do you remember when I asked you to let me stay with you? What reason did I tell you?"

"That you don't have enough money to pay for hostel."

"Do you know why?"

"......no."

"At that time, I was freshly disowned by my parents.....

Flashback

Hiroki hurried downstairs when he was told their is a letter from his family. It was after two years, his parents contacted him. Of course he was excited. And also, it was his birthday. Who would not be excited?

He huffed and puffed until he reached towards their hostel's caretaker's desk. He whizzed," There is a letter for me."

Caretaker looked at him with bored expression," Ah, yeah. Here."

Hiroki smiled brightly when he saw the letter. He hurriedly opened it only to find it was some legal notice. He frowned and started reading. And as he continued, his heart sank. He couldn't believe what was written in it. He was disowned by his family.........as soon as he turned 20.......on his own birthday. His eyes welled up and he crouched down,' Why? What have I done so wrong? Why is this happening?'

He took out his phone and dialled his dad's number. For first three times, Hakuto didn't pick up and on fourth time, it was picked by Logan, Hakuto's butler.
He said only on thing," He is busy."

Hiroki shouted," I don't f**king care!!! Ask him, why did he do this me? What have I done so wrong??!!"

Logan sighed from other line," From now on, it's better if you would stop calling. Goodbye."

Hiroki looked at his phone in disbelief. He clenched his phone tightly, walked towards his room, went in bathroom. He stood infront of the mirror and saw his void eyes. He whispered," Maybe, you deserve it. Why don't you kill yourself now? Noone will notice, right? Your boyfriend doesn't care about you, your parents don't care about you......noone cares about you. You have no friends, no family. You have no life. Just kill yourself."

He splashed water on his face for a long time until his phone ranged. He paused and looked at the ringing phone, hoping that it was his father who called Hiroki to tell him it was all joke. Yeah, it must be his father. He immediately picked his phone up and answered excitedly," Dad! I knew........Oh, hello sir. Yeah. Yeah, I will come down now."

Hiroki went in his college's dean's office who was glaring at him. The same man who praised Hiroki for his outstanding performances was glaring at him. Something was off, really off.

Dean said angrily," You are Hakuto and Mirai Kamazura's son?"

Hiroki frowned," Yes."

Dean banged his hand on table," Do you have any idea what you have done? You took scholarship from a promising candidate! If you were capable of paying fees then why did you opt for scholarship??!!"

"But there was no rule that said that people with rich background can't opt for scholarship!"

"Well, now there is. So, you have to pay fees for two years i.e. $75,000."

Hiroki's eyes widen,"$75,000?! I don't have that amount of money! Also, I have been disowned by my parents today. I can't-"

"I don't care. You have to pay total of $100,000 including every other expense. And if you don't pay $20,000 by today, move out of your hostel room."

"But-"

"Get out. I don't want to hear anything further."

Hiroki left the room in defeat. For last two years his parents status wasn't a problem but now suddenly it was everyone's problem. He knew his parents must be behind this. He knew it for sure they were doing this on purpose. Just as he thought his day could not get any worse, he suddenly lost all of his part time jobs for utterly useless reasons.
