Chapter 111- The Scar is Permanent

Hiroki and Itonome stood in front of the enormous kindergarten which was looking really fancy. It looked like a college, to be honest. Hiroki frowned and asked," Is this really a kindergarten??"

Itonome nodded," One of best one."

Hiroki said in astonishment," Seriously? They are four, why the hell do they need such a big space for bunch of toddlers?"

Itonome said casually," These bunch of toddlers belong to the elites'. Of course, everything is going to be best."

Hiroki gave a look to Itonome and shook his head. This was one of the many reasons that he couldn't digest the fact that he was the son of one of the so called elites. Thank God, he didn't have to go to such place for his kindergarten. His grandmother was very strict about his education and she didn't want Hiroki to be exposed to such toxic environment at such a young age. That's why he went to a fairly normal kindergarten and school untill he stayed with Hannah.

Hiroki said," Thanks for coming today."

Itonome shrugged his shoulders," No need to thank me. It's her first day, how can I miss it?"

Hiroki smiled slightly and looked at Ai who was staring at all other kids of her age in awe. This was the first time she saw this many kids who were as small as her. This made her extremely excited that she even forgot the fact that both of her parents weren't there.

Ai looked up at Hiroki and asked," I cal play with them, light?!"

Hiroki," Of course you can. Now come on. Let's take a picture."

Ai ran off to the welcome board and jumped excitedly for her uncles to hurry up. Hiroki handed camera to Mia who took many photos of them. But, Ai's excitement slowly started dying when she saw all the other kids were with their mommy and daddy while she was with her uncles. Even though she was a toddler but she understood things quickly and soon realised none of her parents were there to see her off at her first day. Her eyes filled with tears and she started sniffling.

Hiroki and Itonome panicked about why suddenly she started crying.

Itonome asked in urgency," Why are you crying? You were so happy just now."

Ai sobbed," I want Mommy and daddy.*sob* Wele ale they??!!"

Apparently, Ai's crying started a domino effect and the kids surrounding them also started crying. They received many glares from the parents.

Hiroki gave them an awkward smile and sat down on Ai's level. He wiped her eyes with his blazer's sleeves and said," Princess, don't cry. Do you think Mommy and daddy will like seeing you like this, huh?"

Ai shook her head slightly in response.

He continued," Mommy and daddy are tiny bit busy right now. And you have no idea how sorry they are for not making it here for your first day. So as a apology, do you know what they got you?"

Ai's eyes perked up in excitement," What?!"

Hiroki held her hands and pecked them lightly," It's a surprise."

Ai whined," Aww~tell me..."

Hiroki also whined," How will it be surprise if I will tell you?"

She pouted and instead asked Itonome," What dil they get me?"

Itonome looked startled and he started sweating. He looked at Hiroki who gave him a deathly expression of - Don't mess up!!

He stuttered out," I-it's a sur-surprise."

Ai poutted again but thankfully she was distracted from her parents topic.

Someone said from behind," Oh, my! You both are in same kindergarten!!"
