Chapter 43- Someone is Fabricating the case

Kate and Hiroki looked at the person who said this. Kate was awe struck and Hiroki stared at him, dumbfounded. 

Hiroki asked," What are you both doing here?"

Tatsuya smiled at him very sweetly, exactly opposite to how he talked with waitress. Kirihitho answered," We just came here for coffee. Why are you here? This place is very far from Kamazura mansion."

Hiroki didn't know how to say that he was investigating a case.

Tatsuya," What's wrong?"

Hiroki," That's...........I accepted Mami Sachio's case."

"What?!"

Hiroki smiled sheepishly. Tatsuya immediately made him sit as if just remembered that Hiroki went through a major surgery. They both surrounded him, completely ignoring Kate's existence.

Kirihitho," What are you thinking? You just got discharge yesterday and today you are  behaving like a wild beast."

Tatsuya," Exactly! You need to rest now. Come on let's go back."

Tatsuya held Hiroki's hand gently. 

Hiroki was moved by their concern which none of his family showed him. He sighed lightly and said," I want to solve this case. It involves my sister in it. I just want to know if she is innocent or not."

Kirihitho and Tatsuya looked at each other. They had a rough idea about this case due to rich kids' involvement and media making a fuss about it.

Kirihitho," If you are so eager to solve it, let us help you or at least stay with you."

Hiroki," No! You don't need to do-"

"Or else we will take you back, willingly or unwillingly."

Hiroki didn't know what to do . So at the end he reluctantly agreed. Kirihitho and Tatsuya were relieved after hearing Hiroki's approval.

Hiroki went back on questioning Kate while they both sticked nearby," So, you said there was a short circuit. Can I see the meter box?"

Kate suddenly became very polite," Yes. This way please."

Hiroki opened the meter box and asked Kate," How long ago this cafe opened?"

"Three months ago."

Hiroki nodded and clicked some photos of the meter box. He asked manager few questions like ' How the four of them behaved?', etc.

Hiroki sat at a bench with Kirihitho while Tatsuya was standing.

Tatsuya asked," Are you done for today?"

Hiroki," No. I have one more place to go today."

Hiroki stood in front of the street from where Mami was stalked and murdered. He looked at the surroundings. There was not a single shop or house present. Perfect place for committing any crime. He walked carefully on the old street. He noticed five cameras which were working. He called someone, " I need your help. I will visit you today. Yeah."

Just as he was going to leave, he saw something shining at corner. He picked it up. It was a locker. He looked at thoroughly and found some carvings. He tried to read them but they were carved in different language. Fortunately, Kirihitho was able to read this language.

He looked at the carvings carefully and said," Help of God."

Hiroki," Are you sure?"

Kirihitho nodded confidently.

Tatsuya was confused," Whose is it?"

Hiroki replied plainly," Kisame Akio's. Kisame means Help of God."

Tatsuya made an oh sound but realized something. He said," That means he came here! But when he was asked about this place, he said he haven't even heard of it! He is telling a lie!"

Hiroki," Not only him but the cafe staff is also telling a lie."

Tatsuya," Huh?"

Hiroki looked at them and said," Think about it. There was short circuit in the cafe which caused cameras to not function. But when we looked at meter box, it was spotless. It there was a short circuit, the spot near the meter or wires should have turned black. But it was completely fine. And did you see the date of installation? It was from three months ago. That means, they never repaired or changed the meter box."

Kirihitho thought about it and said," So the cameras were working completely fine on that day?"

Hiroki," Exactly! Someone is fabricating the truth. That's why, I just asked one of my friend to help me. She is a hacker. Hopefully, she will be able to hack the Cafe's and this street's system."

A girl with thick glasses and messy hair bun sat in front of her computer grumpily. She huffed and puffed.

Kirihitho and Tatsuya were looking around her room while Hiroki was reading a magazine besides her. He asked plainly," J, did you find anything?"

J glared at Hiroki and said," Do you think hacking in government's system is that easy? Have some patience!"

Hiroki flipped through magazine and said," If I didn't have patience, do you think I would have sat here for three hours?"

J snorted but didn't say anything. After 15mins., the system was finally hacked. There was a shine in J's eyes. She said excitedly," I have hacked the system. But we just have 20 minutes before it will be disabled. Ah! Hiroki! I found the footage!"

Hiroki put the magazine aside and looked at her computer. Kirihitho and Tatsuya also walked near them and looked at it curiously.

J started downloading the video. There was just two seconds left when the footage was completely download. She took the pen drive and gave it to Hiroki. She said seriously," This footage was deleted. I have to find it in trash files. Hiroki, someone is fabricating the entire case."

Hiroki looked at the pen drive and said," Well, I have a rough idea who is doing this. Anyways, thanks for your help. Now we are even."

J looked at him indifferently," Yeah."

The trio left her apartment. It was already 8pm. Tatsuya said," It's enough for today. You should go back. We will drop you off."

Hiroki nodded.

Was trapped in one of the cases. Hiroki helped her out in return of one favour from her. Hates Hiroki's guts but respect him as a lawyer.
