Chapter 30 - You hated me without even knowing me

"Mr.Kai?"

Kai looked up and saw two people who he didn't expect to see here at all.

Kai said," Hey. You here to meet Hiroki?"

Kirihitho nodded.

"Go ahead."

Tatsuya and Kirihitho went inside. 

After they went in, Kai couldn't help thinking,' They must love Hikaru a lot as they even came here to check on Hiroki even when it was not needed.'

Tatsuya and Kirihitho saw that Hiroki was sleeping so they just decided to sit on sofa and wait for him to wake up.

It was a long time when Hiroki woke up. Kai went back home and Itonome stayed in his place. Tatsuya and Kirihitho waited until Hiroki woke up.

Both Itonome and Kai found this strange but didn't comment anything.

Hiroki sat up slowly and blinked his eyes. He was still in daze and looked at two people sitting on sofa. He smiled at them and asked," Hello. Why are you here?"

They both stared at Hiroki for some time. His cheeks were rosy due to fever, his eyes were in daze and somewhat wet, his hair were messy and his clothes were crumbled.

They both were turned on by this sight. And that smile was another killer move. Tatsuya wanted to kiss Hiroki right there right now. Whereas Kirihitho's throat was completely dry and he couldn't help imagining lewd things.

Kirihitho quickly cleared his throat making Tatsuya snap out of his imagination. He got up and walked towards Hiroki's bed side," Just came here to see how you were doing. You seem pretty well to me."

Hiroki looked at him with determined expression and said," Exactly! Even you can see that I am well but Mr.Kai can't! He just won't listen to me when I say I want to get out of this hellhole! I mean hospital!"

Kirihitho couldn't help smiling at Hiroki's tantrum. He stroked Hiroki's hair, shocking himself and Tatsuya. Kirihitho never touched another person that easily. He immediately pulled back his hand and turned around.

Tatsuya saw this and laughed out loudly.

Both Kirihitho and Hiroki said at the same time," What are you laughing at?!"

He stopped laughing but his giggles weren't helping at all.

Kirihitho glared at Tatsuya indicating him- Shut up, motherfu**er!

Hiroki said to Kirihitho," I want to ask you something."

Kirihitho was confused but said," Go ahead."

"Your.......... your sister and brother-in-law don't like me right?"

Kirihitho frowned," What makes you think that?"

Hiroki gave two dry chuckles and stared out of window," Your sister and brother-in-law visited me when she donated blood. When they realised I was Hikaru's brother and were donating blood to me, they didn't seem so happy. I guess they hate me for what happened at that time."

Tatsuya said," You are talking about the incident that occurred two and half years ago?"

Hiroki nodded.

Kirihitho was irritated. He didn't want to talk about this and also he couldn't say anything to Hiroki right now or else it will be a big mess. So he decided to keep quiet.

Hiroki continued," They misunderstood me."

Kirihitho," Huh?"

Hiroki looked at Kirihitho," They did! At that time I knew she needed blood urgently due to sudden birth of her baby but I wasn't able to donate it not because of ego or anything. It was due to-"

Kirihitho finally snapped," What could be the reason Hiroki? Aren't you just giving excuses for your mistake?!"

Hiroki looked at him with wide eyes," NO!Of course not. There was indeed a reason."

"What was it?!"

Hiroki calmed down and looked at the IV drip in his hand," At that time.........

Flashback

Hiroki was at hospital for his regular check-up. Suddenly there was a lot of commotion in the labor ward. Hiroki looked up and saw a nurse rushing towards him.

She frantically said to him," Please come with me Sir."

Hiroki was confused. But before he could say anything he was dragged towards labor ward.

The nurse started pulling out a siringe and some other things from a drawer and Hiroki understood what was happening.

He immediately asked," Wait! Are you taking my blood?"

Nurse said," Yes! Why? Is there a problem?"

Hiroki was stunned and said," Of course there is! I can't donate my blood!"

Nurse looked at him seriously," Sir, you are donating your blood to some rich person. You can get some money out of them if you donated your blood or even ask for a better job or anything. You still don't want to donate? I know your blood type is rare because of your frequent visits in hospital and coincidentally it matched with the patient."

Hiroki was disgusted by this nurse," Even if they can give me some money, then also I can't donate my blood. I just went through a major heart surgery almost two months ago and I am still on very high medications. If I gave my blood to a pregnant person it can cause harm to both fetus and the mother."

Nurse looked at him in irritation," Do you think I don't know this? So what you are on high medications and it can harm baby and mother? They don't have to know about it. Later we will just split the money in half, okay? See, I am even ready to give you so much. So cooperate with me."

Hiroki immediately got up and left the labor ward. That nurse was disgusting. But he couldn't help worrying about the mother who needed the blood. He thought for a while and contacted Hikaru.He told Hikaru about the situation and thank god, Hikaru agreed to come to the hospital.

Hiroki looked back at the labor ward and felt guilty. He apologized to the mother in his heart.

Flashback Ends

Hiroki," After that, I don't know what happened to the mother or the child but I saw the father's face before leaving the hospital. He was disgusted by me and I wanted to clear it but that wasn't right to do so at that time. So, I just left without saying anything."

Kirihitho was shocked. No, not even the word 'shock' could describe his feelings. For all this time, Kirihitho hated him from bottom of his heart for what he(Hiroki) did to his sister. But the situation was completely different from what he imagined. He always thought of Hiroki as arrogant and narcissist bastard. But that wasn't true. He hated Hiroki all this time without even trying to know the truth...........
