"This is so bogus." I grumbled as I cleaned my scar. "I think it looks badass." Colby said and came over to look at the scar. "I'm collecting scars." I said with a laugh as I traced the scar on my chest. It was hardly noticeable but I still liked it so much.

"I wish I got to keep the appendix though, I could put it with my bullet." I said then got up so I could shower. "Ew, imagine if they gave it to you." Colby said with a laugh as he followed me into the bathroom. "All shredded and shit because it burst like a little bitch." I said and stopped in the door way.

"Weakest organ ever." Colby said as I laughed and turned around. "Such a bitch." I said then carefully undressed myself. "You don't have to help me, ya know." I said with a laugh. "You're funny." He said then went over to the shower to turn in on.

"We should cover this." I said and pointed to the fresh scar. "Ill get some plastic wrap." Colby said then ran out of the room.

I sighed and looked in the mirror, letting my eyes trace my body. On the right side of my abdomen was the stitched up scar. Right in the middle of my chest was the faded white scar.

I didn't usually mind my scars because they told stories, but the more injuries I got the uglier I would feel. I didn't have the perfect smooth body that everyone in LA had.

I felt really ugly.

"Okay, I'm here to turn you into leftovers." Colby said as he jogged into the room. "Hey..are you okay?" He asked as I stared at myself in the mirror.

"I look so ugly." I said quietly as he came over. "Hey, don't do that." He said and turned me around so I was facing him. "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." He said as I shook my head.

"I have so many scars I look like Frankenstein. You can do so much better." I said as he shook his head the crouched down slightly so he could be eye level.

"Your scars are so beautiful because they tell stories. They show how strong and brave you are. There's nothing wrong with that." He said quietly then bent down and placed a kiss on the faded scar on my chest.

"You're beautiful, V." He said and kissed down it until he reached the bottom. After that he kissed the faded scar along my abdomen from when I was cut open before he took my wrists and kissed the faded scars from the handcuffs I had to wear when I was trapped with Peter.

I watched him carefully as he stood up and placed a kiss on my forehead, kissing the invisible scar that was once there from the asylum.

"I love you so fucking much." He said then cupped my face and kissed me. I melted into the kiss, letting him carefully pull me towards him. I knew we weren't supposed to do any physical activities yet but he was making it really hard.

"I love you more." I said when we pulled away. "Not possible." He said and shook his head. "Whatever, dork. Turn me into leftovers." I said with a laugh and pointed to the plastic wrap.

Colby spent the next couple minutes carefully wrapping my torso with plastic wrap so I could keep my stitches as dry as possible.

"Are you gonna help me?" I asked and walked towards the shower. "I will never turn down an invitation to shower with you." He said then helped me get in without slipping.

We took our shower together then rewrapped my wound and got dressed. "What do you want to do now?" Colby asked as I got settled into the bed again.

"Well, there's not much I can do so maybe I should look for flower arrangements or something." I said with a sigh. "I thought we were pausing on the planning?" Colby asked as I shrugged.

"I'm just really fucking bored." I said as he handed me the laptop. "I bet. Did you want me to help?" He asked then crawled into bed next to me.

"Well it is your wedding too, so if you have the time I would love your help." I said with a small smile. "Of course I want to help. Let me get us a snack really quick." Colby said then hopped out of bed again. "Okay, I'll start looking." I said then opened the laptop.

I searched up different florists so I could see what kind of flower arrangements we would want. I knew I wanted Asters and Irisis in my bouquet so I could have my parents and grams with me on my wedding day.

"Okay, I'm back." Colby said then tossed me a pack of gummy bears. "Fuck yeah, I love these." I said then opened the package and took one out and popped it in my mouth. "Bear murderer." Colby mumbled causing me to laugh. "Stop it." I said then scrolled through the flower arrangements on the page in front of me.

"What do you think?" I asked as he settled next to me. "I think they're flowers." He said as I nodded. "Yes, those are indeed what they are." I said and zoomed in on the picture. "I don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking for." I admitted as he shrugged.

"Pull up a picture of the venue." Colby said and pointed to the computer. "Okay." I said then pulled it up. "Okay, so I think we should hang lights up then maybe have white flowers and green ivy to match the cake." He said as I giggled and looked over at him.

"Okay HGTV!" I said with an impressed tone. "What can I say? I'm artistic." He said then took the laptop from me.

We spent the next hour or so making appointments to talk to florists so we could get the flowers ordered in time.

It felt good to be crossing more things off of the wedding. It was so nice to be able to plan a wedding with Colby because we both didn't care about much.

We just wanted to be with each other, that's all that mattered.

We closed the laptop then cuddled for a couple minutes before Colby's phone started ringing. "Hold on, it's Sam." He said then answered.

"Hello?" He answered as he sat up. "No...wait are you serious? Of course I want to...I don't know. I'll have to talk to her.....okay. Hell yeah, dude. Okay, I'll let you know....bye." He said then hung up.

"What happened?" I asked as he wrapped his arm around me. "We got offered to go ghost hunting at the Villisca axe murder house." He said as I grinned. "No fucking way." I said and looked up at him. "I know, I've always wanted to go there." He said with a grin.

"I know you're gonna say no but....can I come?" I asked as he sighed. "I don't know, V." He said as I frowned. "The murders literally happened on my birthday, it's like its meant to be." I said as he breathed a laugh. "What?" He asked as I sighed.

"The first murder took place on June 9th, 1912 and last was on June 10th, 1912." I said as he sighed. "That's just another reason I want to say no." He said and rubbed his eyes. "Why?" I asked, but already knew the answer.

"The emotions are going to be so intense there, V...and with the birthday thing on top of it I don't want to open you up to that." He said quietly. "I can handle it though...the worst thing that can happen is the feelings get bad and I leave." I said as he shook his head.

"No, the worst thing to happen would be you killing us with an axe." He said with a laugh. "True. That's not going to happen..pleeeeeease?" I asked and pouted my lip. "You think you can handle it?" He asked as I nodded. "Yes." I said with confidence as he breathed a laugh. "Alright, but if you start to lose it then you're done." He said as I smiled widely.

"Thank you, baby! Oh, I'm so excited." I said and cuddled into him more. "I am, too. It's been a while since we have gotten to adventure together." Colby said and nuzzled his chin on my head. "Yeah, we haven't done something paranormal in years. Is Sam gonna be mad if I come?" I asked as he shook his head.

"No, he actually asked me to ask you if you wanted to come." He said causing me to laugh. "See? Sam knows I can handle it." I said as he shook his head. "Sam also isn't madly in love with you." He said as I shook my head. "I would hope not. That would be pretty awkward." I said as he rolled his eyes. "You're such a dork." He said then kissed my head.

As we laid there I started thinking about how excited I was to go to the Villisca house. I had always been so interested in the case so it had always been on my bucket list to at least see it.

I couldn't believe Colby was actually going to let me come.
