We sat there for a while before someone came to wrap my burns. They also told me how to change out my bandages.
When we were done with that we made our way back to the car so we could go back to the hotel.
"Are you doing okay?" Colby asked as we walked. "Yeah. Sorry I kept you up all night." I said quietly as he shook his head.
"Hey, don't worry about it." He said as I shook my head. "I am worried about it." I said then stopped and looked up at him.
"I just want things to calm down." I said as he frowned. "What do you mean?" He asked as he turned to me.
"Everything is just so painful right now...I want it to stop." I said as he frowned. "I know, love. When we get back to LA we're just going to relax and enjoy time with the girls." He said as I chewed my lip.
"Don't you have to keep filming?" I asked as he shook his head. "We can take a little break. I want you to be able to get back to normal." He said as I nodded.
"I'm sorry." I said as he shook his head. "It's not your fault, babe." He said as I sighed.
"It is though. If I was just normal this wouldn't be a problem. If I could just stop being so damn dramatic then this wouldn't be problem." I said feeling frustrated.
"No. Don't do that, Violet. You have been trying so hard to work through this but this trip has been hard than we were anticipating. I'm sorry for taking you here." Colby said and caressed my cheek gently.
"I made the choice to come. It's my fault. I should have known better." I said then looked down.
"You're gonna get through this, Violet. I'm going to help you through this. I vowed to do so." He said and lifted my chin causing me to look up at him.
"I feel so bad." I whispered as he shook his head and kissed my cheek. "Don't honey, it's okay. I'm here through thick and thin." He said as I nodded.
"Okay. Let's get back to the hotel so you can sleep...you look exhausted." I said as he nodded.
"I'm pretty tired, but I'm glad you're okay." He said quietly as we got in the car. "Sam and Kat are going to be so confused." I said as he nodded.
"Yeah, but then we get to tell them about how you saved someones life." He said as I nodded.
"You're really proud of that, huh?" I asked as he nodded. "My wife is a badass." He said then started the car, bringing both of his hands to the wheel.
Colby drove us carefully to the hotel, making sure to take it slow since I was still just a little freaked out about the whole driving thing.
When we got back to the hotel we made our way up to our room. Sam and Kat were sitting on the bed when we walked in. "There you are. What happened?" Sam asked as I walked towards my suitcase.
"Violet was in a car accident last night." Colby said as Kat gasped. "What?!" She asked as they both stood up. "Yeah, I'm alright though." I said as Colby breathed a laugh.
"She literally saved someones life...like she pulled him out of the burning car." He said as Sam and Kat looked at me with wide eyes.
"Is that true?" Sam asked as I nodded and held up my bandaged arm. "Holy shit..." He said as I nodded. "You're a badass! What the hell!" Kat said as I nodded. "Yeah..I'm gonna shower." I said then turned to walk into the bathroom.
I felt bad that I was being a little standoffish but I was honestly still just trying to process what was going on with my life. Everything that has taken place in the past 24 hours has just been so overwhelming.
