Colby and I kept to our word for the next couple days. We basically just lounged around since I needed to rest and Colby needed to edit videos.
I was feeling much better than before which was good because I was finally able to be off of the pain meds.
"How's it going, baby?" I asked as I walked into the office with both of the girls in my arms. "I'm finally almost done." He said with a yawn as I bent down and kissed his cheek. "Well I think this calls for a celebration." I said with a smile as he looked up at me.
"Sex?" Colby asked as I breathed a laugh. "Not what I was going for but sure." I said as he grinned. "What was your plan?" Colby said as I smiled.
"Hmmm, I was just gonna make you dinner." I said as he chuckled. "I could go for some dinner right about now." He said then turned to look at me.
"I'm gonna make pizza." I said as he grinned. "Sounds perfect. I'll be down in a little while." He said as I nodded.
"Come on girls." I cooed then walked out of the room so I could go downstairs. When I got to the kitchen I looked at the girls. "Okay ladies, would you like to eat now or later?" I asked as they smiled and reached up at me.
"Okay, now." I said then sat down at the kitchen table and positioned them so they could eat. I really soaked in the feeling of being able to feed them again because I never knew when that freedom would be taken away again.
Once the girls were fed and burped I put them in their swings then turned to start getting ingredients out. I was really starting to feel good since I have had so many days to rest.
I found myself zoning out as I made the pizza dough. I didn't even realize that Colby had come downstairs until he was tapping me on the shoulder causing me to scream.
"Sorry!!" Colby said with a laugh as I put my hand on my chest trying to stop my racing heart. "You know I get zoned out in the kitchen!" I said then hunched over, trying to catch my breath.
"I know. I always forget." He said with a laugh as I shook my head. "Are you done editing?" I asked as he nodded.
"Yep. I'm here to be a helping hand." He said as I grinned. "I'm actually okay I think." I said as he chuckled and put his hands on my waist.
"Let me help you." He said then kissed me. I grinned against his lips as he pressed me against the counter. I let him kiss me for a second before I pulled away.
"Colby..." I mumbled as he lowered his lips to my neck. "Not in front of the girls." I said as he chuckled and pulled away. "They don't know what happening." Colby said then gestured to the girls who were staring at us blankly.
"You're sick." I said then smacked his chest and turned to make the sauce for the pizza. "No, I'm horny." Colby said as I laughed.
"Really? I couldn't tell." I teased them winked at him. "Mhmm, just wait until I get my hands on you." He said as my stomach dropped.
"Can't wait." I said quietly then continued making the pizzas.
We spent the next couple hours making and eating dinner while the twins caught up on some sleep. When we were done eating we started to clean up the kitchen.
We were about halfway through cleaning when someone knocked on the front door.
"Who's that?" I asked as my heart started to race. "I don't know...just stay here with the girls." Colby said then went to go to the front door.
"Please be careful..."I said nervously as he walked towards the front door. I ended up walking over to the girls, covering them from view in case the person came inside.
