I woke up the next morning to my phone ringing. I groaned slightly then rolled over and grabbed my phone. "Hello?" I said and brought my free hand to my forehead. "Hey, baby. Did I wake you up?" Colby asked as I rubbed my eyes. "Mhmm." I mumbled and looked at the time.
2pm.
"Damn, Nova is really sucking your energy out today." He said as I laughed. "Yeah, I guess. I didn't fall asleep until late so it makes sense." I said with a shrug then got out of bed.
When I stood up I gasped at how badly I had to pee. "What's wrong?" Colby asked as I walked quickly to the bathroom.
"I'm gonna pee myself." I said with a laugh then tossed my phone on the counter so I could take care of my business. Once I was done I went out, washed my hands, then grabbed my phone.
"V?" Colby asked as I chuckled. "I'm here." I said as he laughed. "What were you doing?" He asked as I walked to the bedroom. "I was peeing." I said then crawled into bed again. "You could have brought me with." He said with a laugh.
"That's rude, Cole." I said and pulled the covers over my shoulder. "We're married, V. I think we're passed that phase." He said as I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever. What are you up tp today?" I asked with a smile. "We're gonna go around the city and drink. I think we're going to a club tonight." He said as I squinted my eyes.
"Better keep that wedding ring on all night." I said as he breathed a laugh. "I'm just here for the boys. I won't even look at another girl." He said as I grinned and put my hand on my belly. "Good." I said with a nod.
"What about you? What are you up to, now that you're awake." Colby said as I shrugged. "I'm laying in bed. I'm gonna start painting the nursery, then I think I'm gonna cook." I said and rubbed my belly.
"What are you gonna make?" He asked as I looked up the ceiling. "I have no idea. I think I'm gonna look through dad's cookbook." I said with a smile. "Colby, come on!" Sam yelled on the other end. "I gotta go, V. Don't have too much fun without me." Colby said as I smiled.
"Have fun, baby. I'll send you pictures of what I make." I said as he chuckled. "I can't wait. I love you." He said quietly. "I love you, too." I said then hung up.
"What should we do first, Nova?" I asked as I rolled out of bed. "Breakfast." I said with a nod then went to go down to the kitchen. I quickly made myself some pancakes and fruit salad. As I was sitting down to eat my phone started ringing again.
"Hello?" I asked with a mouthful of food. "What are you doing?" Ki asked as I swallowed my food. "Eating." I said as she giggled. "I miss you, let's hang out." She said as I smiled. "Wanna come over and help me paint?" I asked as she gasped.
"The little babes room?" Ki asked as I nodded. "Yep. Are you up for the challenge?" I asked as she nodded. "No, but I'll watch you paint." She said with a laugh. "Great. Come over whenever." I said with a smile. "I'll be there in fifteen." She said as I nodded.
"See ya." I said then hung up. "Auntie Ki is coming over, are you excited?" I asked my bely as I felt a light kick in my belly. "Oh my god!" I gasped. "Did you kick me?" I asked and rubbed my belly.
I felt another little kick which caused my heart to flutter. "I love you so much." I whispered then smiled down at my belly before I started eating again.
I was about halfway through my meal when there was a knock on the door. I finished the bite of food in my mouth then made my way to the front door. "Helloooo!" I said and answered the door.
"You're literally so cute." Ki said as I laughed. "Why is that?" I asked as she came over and pointed to my belly. "You're getting so big." She said as I shook my head. "I'm only halfway through, I'm gonna be huge." I said with a laugh as we walked towards the kitchen so I could finish my breakfast.
