"Violettt..." Ki sang quietly causing me to groan. "No." I said and pushed my face into my pillow. "It's your wedding day..." She said and scratched my back. "Let me sleep." I groaned as she laughed.
"Fine, I'll just tell Colby the wedding is off which is a huge bummer because the guy REALLY wants to marry you." She said and got up as I pulled the covers over my head.
"I'll just tell everyone to go home..." Ki teased as I groaned and rolled over. "I'm up." I said as she laughed. "That was easier than expected. Come on! Let's get all prettied up and get a little tipsy." She said and pulled my hands so I was sitting up.
"I need coffee." I said as she giggled. "How about...mimosas." She said as Kat, Devyn, and Tara came in with a bottle of champagne, a bottle of orange juice and a box of donuts.
"Fuck it...okay." I said and held my hand out so they could give me the champagne. "Atta girl." Kat said and handed me the bottle.
I popped the top off then laughed as the girls all cheered. "The hairdressers are gonna be here in 20 minutes so eat up and get ready." Ki said as she looked at her phone.
"Sounds good." I said and grabbed a chocolate sprinkled donut. I checked my phone to see texts from a bunch of people wishing me well today. It warmed my heart that so many people cared so much about me and my happiness.
I ate my donut and drank half of my mimosa before going into the bathroom so I could get ready. I washed my face first, making sure to take my time since I knew I would have makeup on all day.
Once I was done with that I brushed my teeth and mouthwashed. I then went to put on my robe so I could take that off when I put my dress on without ruining my hair or makeup.
I put on the white lingerie set that Ki got me, then looked in the mirror. I smiled at myself slightly then grabbed my robe.
As soon as I tied the robe up I went back into the bedroom. "Emily's here." Ki said as I nodded. "Sounds good." I said quietly as I put my clothes in my suitcase.
"Are you doing okay?" Ki asked as I stood up straight. "Why am I so nervous?" I asked and chewed on my lip.
"Because today is a big deal. You've been anticipating it for years, it's overwhelming that it's here now. You're not scared to marry Colby though, are you?" She asked as I shook my head.
"No. I know that he's the one..I don't know it's just such a weird feeling." I said with a nervous laugh. "I know, it's gonna be fun though, babes. Promise." She said then gave me a hug. I hugged her back before pulling away.
"Come on, let's get turned into princesses." She said then took my hand and led me to the living room. When we got there we were met with four makeup stations and four stylists.
"Hey, bride!" Emily said excitedly as I smiled. "Hi, Emily." I said and waved as she patted the chair in front of her. "Ready to get pampered?" She asked as I nodded.
"Ready." I said as Kat handed me my mimosa. We spent the next couple hours getting our hair and makeup done. It was still so surreal that today was finally here.
"Violet!" Colby's mom said happily as she came into the room with a dozen red roses. "What are those?" I asked and pouted my lip out as she laughed. "Colby wanted me to deliver them to you. You look gorgeous by the way!" She said as I took the roses from her and sniffed them.
"Thank you. Did you want to get your makeup done?" I asked as Emily finished my makeup. "That's okay, honey. I have to go get ready, I just wanted to sneak in here and give you some love." She said as I smiled.
"I really appreciate it." I said with a smile as I turned and hugged her. "Of course. I'll see you a little later on, okay?" She asked as I nodded. "Okay." I said then looked in the mirror.
