We ended up leaving to go back to LA that night, since we were done filming the video and since being in Colorado now had a dark cloud over it.
I couldn't believe that Jarrod would attack like he did. It made me wonder what transpired before he attacked me. He didn't seem to be mad from what I remembered. I was afraid to ask where he was or what happened with him, since I knew Colby would be upset for me caring.
I was in an immense amount of pain since I still wasn't taking any of the pain medication. I was cleared to feed the girls again though since the Vicodin was now out of my system.
"I guess this is goodbye.." Ki said with a frown as she held her arms out to hug me. "I'll probably see you in a couple days." I said then hugged her. "You better." She said then put her hand on Nova's head.
"I'll miss you, kid. I however won't miss you screaming all damn night." She said as I breathed a laugh. "They sleep for me." I said with a shrug as she rolled her eyes. "You give them tits, of course they do." She said as Kat came over. "Bye, V! I hope you feel better soon." She said as I hugged her.
"Me too." I said then looked over at Sam. "Thanks for letting me come along." I said as he grinned. "I hope you come more often. We love having you and your cool clairvoyant powers." He said as I breathed a laugh.
"We'll see." I said with a wink then turned towards the RV door so I could go inside. "Did Colby already go in?" I asked and opened the door. "Yeah, Luna had a bit of an issue." Sam said as I scrunched my brow.
"Should I be concerned?" I asked as Sam chuckled. "No, you should be lucky that you're holding Nova." He said as I nodded. "Noted. Okay, bye!" I said then got out of the RV.
"Are you excited to be home, sweetheart?" I asked Nova as I slowly made my way inside. My whole body was hurting so bad so I was excited to be home so I could relax.
When I got inside I slowly made my way up the stairs and to the nursery. "Everything okay in here?" I asked quietly as I walked into the room. "Yeah, Luna literally exploded." He said as I breathed a laugh.
"A shit explosion?" I asked as he nodded. "Yep. How are you feeling?" He asked as I laid Nova down so I could change her diaper. "I'm hurting really bad but I think once the girls are asleep I'm going to take a bath." I explained, changed Nova's diaper.
"That sounds good, let me join you." He said as I giggled. "Maybe." I said then grabbed a new onesie. I quickly got her changed then laid her in her crib.
"I do need help getting undressed though." I said as I caressed Nova's cheek gently. "I can for sure do that." He said with a chuckle as I walked to Luna's crib. "Go to sleep little poopy face." I said and caressed her cheek as she looked up at me.
"Don't make fun of her, she's sensitive." Colby said as I laughed and turned towards him. "She gets it from her daddy." I said as he rolled his eyes. "I'm not sensitive." He said as I shrugged and turned to leave the room.
I slowly walked to the bathroom as Colby followed behind me. "Are you going to let me join?" He asked as I chuckled. "I don't know, I honestly feel like it'll hurt if you join." I said with a sigh as I carefully pulled off my shirt.
"I'll just sit with you then." Colby said as he helped me take my bra off. "Owww." I hissed as I looked down at my stomach. There was a giant bandaid wrapped around my stomach since there was a split on my stomach from how hard he kicked me.
My whole abdomen and chest were riddled with deep purple and red bruises, which was scary. I was so injured I didn't even know how I survived.
"This looks really bad, V." Colby said quietly as he carefully unwrapped my bandages. "It hurts really fucking bad." I whispered as tears flooded in my eyes. "I'm so sorry.." Colby said as my face scrunched with pain.
"It's not your fault." I said as he finished pulling the bandage off. "It kind of is." He said as I sighed and turned the faucet on for the bathtub.
"It's not." I mumbled then slowly shimmied my sweatpants off. "I just wish I was there...I wish I could kill him" Colby said as I turned to him. "I know, baby." I said then brought my hand to his cheek.
"It wasn't your fault though. I don't want you to think it was." I said as he sighed. "I just wish I could understand why he would do that to you. If he's in love with you like he says he is then why would he do this to you? Why would he hurt you like this?" He asked as I shook my head.
"I have no idea...we may never know. I don't even know where he is now." I said as he shook his head. "Don't worry about it." He said as I sighed. "I'm just curious, Colby. We were friends for years." I said as he clenched his jaw.
"A friend doesn't beat the fuck out of another friend, V! A friend doesn't have to trick another friend into hanging out with them. He's not a friend." He said as I turned to turn the faucet off.
"You're right, but that doesn't change the friendship we had before I even met you." I said and slowly turned to him. I watched as he studied my face, looking at every bruise and scar before his eyes travelled to mine.
"I understand that, V. I don't want you to get any more hurt. Seeing you like this is killing me." He said as I frowned. "I know. I just want to know if he's in prison I guess." I said then sat on the edge of the tub. My face scrunched with pain as my body ached.
"I can look into it if you want, but I don't want you contacting him." Colby said as he helped me turn around so I could get in the warm water. "I wasn't planning on it." I grunted as I lowered myself into the water.
"God, this hurts." I whimpered as the girls started crying in the other room. "Shit, are you gonna be okay?" Colby asked as I nodded and tried to relax into the water.
"Okay, I'm gonna go calm the girls down just....don't move." He said as I nodded, gripping onto the tub, trying to release the pressure that was filling my whole body.
I hated that I was in so much pain, because I wanted so desperately to enjoy my bath even just a little bit. I sat there for a while gripping onto the tub so hard that my knuckles were white, before Colby came back into the room.
"Oh, you look like you're relaxing so much." He said sarcastically as I looked over at him. "Fuck off." I said as he sighed and stripped his shirt off. "I'm gonna help." He said as I scrunched my brow. "By distracting me with your incredible body?" I asked as he chuckled.
"That's the plan." He said then walked towards the tub. "Lean forwards a little." He said as I nodded and tried to lean forwards. I grunted from the pain as Colby stepped into the tub, positioning himself behind me.
"Lean back." He said then gently pulled me back so I would be leaning against his chest. I whimpered as he wrapped his arms around me, holding me gently.
After a few seconds the pain started to subside which was such relief. "You're amazing." I mumbled as he kissed the top of my head. "I'm sorry you're going through this." He said as I looked up at him.
"It's okay, I'll live. And if I don't, then I'll just haunt the shit out of you." I said as he chuckled. "I think I'd like that." He said then kissed my forehead.
We sat in the tub for a while before I started getting really uncomfortable again. When we got out we had to clean my wounds out and wrap them up again.
"OW FUCK." I groaned as Colby cleaned out my cuts. "I'm almost done, I'm almost done." Colby cooed as he focused. "Please stop..please." I begged as my eyes watered. "I cant, V. I'm almost done though, you're doing good." He said and worked faster.
After a couple minutes he was done, causing a sense of relief to fill my body. "Thank god." I whispered as Colby helped me put my sweatshirt on. "You did so good." He said then kissed me as I nodded.
I was so sick of being in pain and I was so sick of dealing with everything that was going on but I was just happy that I had Colby.
I was also just glad to be home.
