Cassandra gazed at Oliver from down the long table, in the Great Hall. She had a small smile spread across her lips, in her own little world. All the while, Fred gazed at Cassie, Angelina gazed at George and Lee gazed at Angelina. Chance sat there with a bored expression and rolled his eyes, the boy turned to the grand oak doors. Just waiting for Caterina to come in, so he could show her his essay results in Herbology.

Well, obviously he wasn't just gonna throw it in her face, he was gonna spread it across the table and hope it catch's her eye. Then he'll pretend he didn't mean to leave it so out in the open, then she'll praise him and-.

"Ow! What the fuck!?" Chance exclaimed, snapping out of his thoughts, when something hit him across the face. When he looked up, his family owl stood before him, with a creased envelope in its claw. Laughter sounded from across from him. Cassie seemed to have come out of her daze and was now full on belly laughing at the boy, tears in her eyes.

"You- you just got-," she tried to say, but couldn't get any full sentences out, she didn't even notice when the candles started to flicker, although Dumbledore did and he observed the girl closely. Eventually Cass spluttered out the rest of her sentence, "bitch slapped- by your owl!"

Chances face heated up immensely, 'that's what hit me, perfect.' He thought to himself, as he scowled sheepishly at the girl. But he couldn't help the smile form on his face, seeing the her so happy. The twins and Lee joined in smiling at Cassie, who almost fell backwards off her seat, leaning back to far.

Angelina on the other hand glared at her, upset that she was grabbing George's attention and making him smile so easily. When usually, all she got when she tried to joke, was a confused, 'wait, what?'

"Well at least people are sending him stuff." She sneered, the laughter died down a bit and the group turned their heads to the girl. "Haven't seen your owl in a while, it's almost the end of the school year, and you've got what? Two letters at the most maybe? What's wrong? Mummy and Daddy are too ashamed are they?"

By now any trace of happiness was wiped from the air, they all stared at her with shocked expressions, Cassies face was full of hurt. The boys then, turned aggressive towards Angelina, steam was practically coming out of their ears, even Lee was glaring at the girl with disgust.

Cass bit her lip and gazed around the Great Hall awkwardly, trying not to show the shame and betrayal displayed on her face, Fred caught sight of it though and linked their hands together, he lifted his eyebrows at the heat of her hand, but chose not to say anything. Chance looked as if he was about to pounce on Angelina in rage, but was trying his very best to restrain himself.

Suddenly another presence was added to the table, Caterina sat beside Cass and was practically jumping in her seat, with glee, oblivious to what had just happened. She turned to Cassandra with excitement in her eyes and a huge smile.
