"Agghhhh!" Akilahs screams of frustration were drowned out by 'Killer Queen,' by Queen, being blasted from Cassandras bedroom. Akilah held her ears, trying to dull the noise and stormed through the door. Cass danced around with a happy smile, plucking away at the strings of her guitar, smirking when she caught sight of her mother.
Cassie stopped playing and simply raised her brows at the woman, in question. Akilahs eye twitched and she pressed her lips together, before taking a deep breath. She was about to speak, when Cassie opened her mouth.
"Do you need something?" She asked casually, blinking slowly.
"What in Godrics name, are you doing?" Akilah questioned with anger evident in her tone. Cass gave her a proud smile, she looked like a child who just showed you a drawing of you, that they spent hours on, although it looked like a big blob.
"Well I am glad you asked," Cass started off, "I happen to be playing, in my opinion, one of the best songs Queen has ever written." She paused. "Care to join in on this masterpiece?" Akilah squinted at the girl.
"Queen?" She questioned, not finding the name familiar. A look of fake realization passed over Cassies face and she brought her hand to her heart.
"Oh yes of course. You wouldn't know them........it's a muggle band." She grinned as her mother's jaw dropped. The woman recoiled in disgust and disbelief.
"Excuse me?!" She shouted in question. Cassie cleared her throat and leaned foreword.
"Muggle band!" She shouted, then gave a big thumbs up. Akilah shook in anger, her fists clenched at her sides.
"You-you disgrace!" She screamed, Cassie waved her off as if she was just given a compliment.
"Stop." She drawled out. "You're making me blush."
"Just when I thought you couldn't sink any lower." Akilah hissed, smoke practically came out of her ears when Cassie chuckled, as she had just remembered something.
"Oh I think I can." She stated, then she peered down at her red guitar. Cass sighed in content, thinking of Zephyr, then glanced up at her mother. Akilah seemed to only now, take in the sight of the instrument, frowning, not knowing where she could have gotten it.
The woman coughed and straightened up. "Where did you get that?" She questioned, with a bite in her tone. Cassandra let out an over exaggerated dreamy sigh.
"Oh mother, I didn't tell you," she paused dramatically, "I've fallen in love." Akilahs eyes widened at her words.
"Oh don't worry." Cass smiled. "You know the Maríons right? Rich family, moved from France around, twenty years ago, very well known?" Akilah nodded slightly knowing of the last name, but she was still greatly confused.
"Well....their daughter happens to be in my year at Hogwarts." Cass expressed, putting emphasis on the word 'daughter.' Akilah simply blinked at her. "And my Godric! She is the most beautiful person I've ever laid eyes on."
