"How did you get that scar?"
Cassandra, Chance and Caterina were all sitting in the library studying together, well, Chance was far ahead of any class they were taking, so instead he was drawing, a hobby he picked up after having nobody to talk to in the Slytherin common rooms. When Cass had suggested studying, Cat almost hopped with glee, while Chance came over and checked the Gryffindors temperature, earning a smack on the arm. Cassie had been diving into her classes a lot more since everything with Zephyr, an attempt to get her mind off everything.
Problem was, when she was concentrating so hard on studying the thing in front of her, her filter disappeared completely. So when a girl from Ravenclaw came over and sat down next to the trio and began flirting with Cass, (and when Chance told Cassie the girl was flirting with her), Cass hardly glanced up to tell her to piss off because she wasn't interested.
Turns out, the girl found Cassie ten times more intriguing afterwards and stayed. So she's just sat with them chatting away to Cass.
When Cat and Chance heard the girls intrusive question, Cat recoiled in shock and Chance flinched. Cassie on the other hand, without her filter didn't pause for a second before answering.
"My mother smashed my head against a coffee table." She replied blankly, making Chance wave his hands in confusion and protest. The girls mouth dropped open as she sucked in a gasp.
"Woah." She breathed out, completely mesmerized. Caterina sneered at the girl, disgusted about how she just skipped over Cassies abuse, even though Cass herself had. "Did your mother give you all the other ones as well?" The girl continued, that made Cass look up with confusion.
"How do you know about...? Were you at the lake when we went swimming?" Cassandra questioned, the girl shook her head casually.
"Nope I heard two girls arguing about them, about one of them said they made you really fit and the other one was giving out to her." She seemed thoughtful for a moment, scratching her short hair. "Slytherins I think."
"Right." Cass sighed heavily and turned back to her book, the blonde Slytherin popping up in her mind once again. The girl sit sat, staring at her expectingly. Chance narrowed his eyes at her.
"What?" He spat at her, sick of her presence. The boy expected to get a glare from Cat, but she was glaring at the girl just as hard. The short haired short girl rolled her eyes.
"Well?" She dragged out, the two gave her a look and Cass was now sulking at her book, thinking about Zephyr once again. The girl huffed. "Are they as fit as your one says they are?"
Chance and Cat glanced at each other shaking their heads, Cat then went back to taking down notes and Chance traced the outline of the girl on his parchment, without answering her question. After sneering at them, the Ravenclaw went back to yapping off Cassies ear, ignoring the girls depressing pout and slumped shoulders.
