Cassandra slid into the seat beside Chance, a stern expression on her face. He lifted an eyebrow at her stiffness, asking a silent question.
"I'm still absolutely freaking out right now about the kiss." She explained in a hushed whisper. Chance looked her up and down, she seemed anything, but freaked out.
"Yeah," he scoffed playfully, "you can really tell. I can practically feel your excitement." Cass gave him a look, speaking her next words like it was obvious.
"I am the cool one in the relationship, ok? I have to keep cool. Comprende?" She stated, as she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, trying to keep still. Chance snorted a laugh.
"You?" He questioned. "Your the cool one? Please."
Suddenly Caterina sat down beside Cassie and aggressively hissed at the boy. "Yeah she is the cool one. In fact, I've seen it. And it, is, fit, as, fuck." Chance jumped at her tone, actually sort of scared of the girl, while Cassie turned to her with a great full smile.
"Awe, Cat, thank you." She cooed, Cat gave her a smile. Cassie then snapped her head towards Chance, who had confusion written all over his face as he dazed at Cat. "See, she gets it."
"What the fuck just happened?" Chance whispered to himself, as Cassie turned back around to Cat and started chatting.
Lee and Fred sat in front of them, trying to find a spare quill, not wanting to get given out to by McGonagall when she comes in. A Hufflepuff girl, strolled between the two desks, trying to get to hers. She had a single Dutch braid plaited into her dark hair, holding down her curls. Cassie smiled at her.
"Oh I love your hair." She complimented, making the others snap their gaze to Cass.
"Oh, thank you." The girl grinned, little rosy circles appearing on her dark skin. Cassie kept going.
"Did you do that yourself, or did somebody else do it for you?" She asked politely, not picking up on how the girl giggled slightly, twirling the braid in between her fingers.
"I-I did it myself." She breathed out, making Cassies face lift with pleasant shock. Chance, Lee and Fred all had their jaws dropped, watching the exchange. Caterina grinned at her best friends obliviousness, as to what was happening.
"Woah, Merlin, I have to learn how to do that, it's gorgeous." Cassie sighed casually, the girl smirked at her.
"Well maybe I could-." She stopped herself seeing Zephyr come behind Cass. The Slytherin narrowed her eyes at the Hufflepuff, while she wrapped her arms around Cassies neck from behind.
Zephyr leaned down and pressed a butterfly kiss on Cassies neck, not breaking eye contact with the Hufflepuff. The dark skinned girl, standing in front of them, huffed and bid a quick goodbye, then shuffled over to her desk.
