"Salazar Slytherin, he might as well be naming their future children, like who does he think he is?" Chance questioned with a scoff.
Cassandra and Chance were in the library, the day of the match, getting some homework done during their free period, when Cedric and Caterina strolled in and sat down at one of the tables further away. Even worse, Cat will not stop giggling. Cassandra glanced over at the pair for what felt like the hundredth time.
"She dropped her quill," she paused and gave him an exasperated look, "and he picked it up for her, you drama queen." Chance rolled his eyes at the girl and spotted something on her parchment.
"You wrote Fred Weasley at the top." He pointed out, Cassie huffed, thinking back to her stupid bet.
"Yeah, I lost a bet, now I'm doing his homework, but only today's." Chance sniggered at her look of disgust. Oliver Wood strolled past them with Percy beside him. The keeper was green in the face, no doubt worried about today's match against Slytherin. Chance seen an opportunity to tease Cass and nudged her.
"There goes your dream boy toy, Olive." He grinned, she hardly glanced up and focused on the essay in front of her. She only made a sound of recognition that she had heard him. Chance furrowed his eyebrows and nudged her harder, making her look up slowly.
"Kilt wearing Scottish, strolling on by, right before your very eyes."
Cassie coughed and shifted in her seat. "Oh, really?" she glanced around for the older boy, when she spotted him, they caught each other's eye. He waved, completely ignoring Percy ranting his ear off, she smiled and waved back.
Chance shook his head at the pair. "Shouldn't he be running around screaming about quidditch by now?" Cassie nodded and laughter lightly.
"Yeah he was this morning, in the common room, but he got Charlie all stressed. So he is currently under a silencing charm." Chance nodded in understanding.
"Ah makes sense." Cass went back to Fred's essay, Chance kept talking. "You nervous about playing against Slytherin?" She snapped her head up at the word Slytherin and glanced around the many book shelf's.
"Wher-, oh right, right, quidditch team Slytherins." Cass took a deep breath and thought for a moment. "I mean, I'm pretty confident about our team, I'm sure we'll win."
With that she simply picked up her book and began scanning the pages. Chance squinted his eyes, and grabbed the book out of her hands.
"Ok," he drawled out, seemingly suspicious, "well why aren't you bouncing around with excitement, like, this is your first match, proper match?"
"Well, I was also screaming about Quidditch with Oliver this morning...... so Charlie put something in my drink, to.....contain me." Cassie stated both simply and awkwardly, Chances eyes went wide and his eyebrows disappeared under his hair.
