Cassandras whole face lit up, as Zephyr turned to her and nodded with a smile. They grinned at each other, Zephyr bit her lip and twisted back around in her chair, before McGonagall caught them. The charmed note, was still clutched in her hand, she reread it over and over.
It was a few days after Cassie had suggested, that her and Zephyr go to the astronomy tower together one night. So she plucked up the courage to set a date, which was that night, by writing a small note and charming it to fly over to Zephyr during transfiguration.
Cass went through the rest of the class with a grin on her face, glancing over at Zephyr every few minutes, finding the girl already looking at her. Chance smiled at the two from beside Cassie, he felt horrible for Fred, but he loved seeing his best friends face light up, whenever she seen Zephyr.
When McGonagall finally dismissed the class, everyone ran out of the room. Cassandra raced down the hall trying to find Caterina, knowing she would love to help her set everything up in the tower.
Chance strolled along after her, but she was soon swallowed by the crowd. Lee came up to him, with one eyebrow raised.
"Houston we have a problem." He sighed, Chance shook his head.
"Who the hell is Houston? It's me Chance." Lee squinted his eyes at him and muttered to himself, but Chance heard it loud and clear.
"You uncultured swine."
Chance scoffed, as Lee kept talking. "What I was trying to tell you, was that I just overheard Zephyr talking to her friends about her date with Cassie." Chance tilted his head, trying to find the right words.
"Well..... did she seem excited?" He asked, crossing his fingers behind his back, hoping to Godric he would say yes, even though he knew the answer, just from looking at Zephyr himself. Lee cringed at him.
"Duh." He replied with. "She was practically jumping all over the place." Lee sighed in disappointment, while Chances lips twitched into a subtle smile. "Don't worry though." Lee spoke, making Chance pause slightly.
"W-what do you mean, don't worry." Lee waved his hand in front of the Slytherins face, dismissing him, saying a short goodbye and wondering over to Angelina. Chance bit his tongue and kept walking, hoping that Lee didn't mean anything by that.

Cedric made a small path for him and Caterina to move through the crowds, holding her hand, to make sure she didn't get lost. When they reached an open space by the window, he turned around to give his full attention to her rant about her hearing some the Professors, whispering about students relationships.
He chuckled at her, as she hardly stopped to take a breath between sentences. She stopped and gazed up at him smiling. "What?" She asked softly. Cedric shook his head.
"Nothing, noth-, oh-, Cassandra just punched someone in the face," he observed her carefully, "and now she is skipping over to us as if nothing just happened." Cat shrugged her shoulders, knowing whoever she hit, probably deserved it. Cassie sent Cedric a friendly wave and spun Cat around, holding onto her shoulders, a huge smile across her lips.
"I need your help with something."

"There's literally no need to freak out, ok? Remember what-, what was his name? Liam Jordan? Remember what Liam Jorden said, it's not-, it's-." Zephyr sighed. "It's not a date." She choked out, trying to push her feelings aside.
Zephyr was muttering to herself, strolling up the stairs of the astronomy tower. She had trudged those steps, what felt like a hundred times before, but this time was much different, she felt much different. Butterflies swarmed her stomach, her palms sweat and she kept anxiously licking her lips and fixing her blonde hair.
Cassandra was sitting at the top of the tower, taking deep breaths trying to calm her racing heart beat. In a minute or two, Zephyr would come into view, and she'll see the pillows and blankets, in a small, comfy pile around the big window, she'll see the fairy lights that Cat insisted on putting up, even when Cass explained that the stars would be bright enough to light up the room, she'll see two steaming cups of hot chocolate, with small pink and white marshmallows floating at the top.
Cassie glanced around and started to have second thoughts, maybe it was a bit much, she didn't want to scare the Slytherin off. But she knew she'd like someone to put in this much effort for her, so why wouldn't Zephyr like it........right? Before Cassie could change anything, a small gasp was heard from over at the stairs.
Zephyrs brown eyes sparked as she gazed around at everything, a look of disbelief and awe across her face. When she spotted Cassandra standing up, she blushed harshly and constantly reminded herself it wasn't a date. They both grinned at each other for a moment or two, until Cassie snapped out of it and shook her head.
"Hey," she started off as casually as she could, which caused Zephyrs cheeks to darken even more, "I'm glad you came. You look gorgeous." She stated. With just a few words, Zephyr felt like melting, instead she strolled over to Cassie, stopping directly in front of her, and very close to her.
"Thanks, this-this is lovely, it's so pretty." She laughed lightly along with her words, making Cass smile down at her. They sat down in the pile of soft pillows, mostly from Caterinas dorm, Cassie covered them both with a large fluffy blanket.
Cassandra wanted to say something, about it all being a bit over the top, but decided not to comment, after seeing the glee and excitement in Zephyrs eyes, as she scanned the room. Zephyr glanced over to Cass, to see her already looking at her, they both chuckled and gazed out at the night sky.
They both happily drank the hot chocolate that Cass made, chatting and smiling. When the last dropped was drained, Zephyr let out a satisfied sigh, making the two girls laugh. Cassie raised her eyebrows and her heart sped up slightly.
"I'm about to be really cliché here, but em." She leaned in close as wiped Zephyrs foamy mustache, off her top lip, with her thumb. Zephyr gasped silently and held back on leaning even closer. They both gazed into each other's eyes and sniggered together at their closeness.
"You cheesy bitch." Zephyr laughed, Cassie smiled proudly at her, then turned back to study the stars peacefully. That was, until she felt Zephyr snuggle even closer to her, then a moment after that, she shifted her leg slightly to be resting on Cassies, another moment passed, when an arm was slowly thrown over Cassies body.
Cass smiled and made it easier for them both, by pulling the girl closer, so that they didn't have to be awkward any longer and so that they were both more comfortable. They were both cuddled up together, Zephyr rested her head on Cassies chest, while Cass rested her chin lightly on Zephyrs head.
Zephyr kept repeating Liam Jordens words in her head, about how that this wasn't a date and this was just Cassie being friendly. Cassie on the other hand went over a conversation she had with her friends a few days prior.
"So," she paused, "do you prefer ice-cream or ice-pops?"
