A mischievous grin, slowly spread across Cassandras lips, when a frightened, high pitched scream was heard from the girls dorms.

It was a day or two after arriving back at Hogwarts, and the twins, Lee and Cassie snuck Chance into the Gryffindor common room after all of their classes were finished. Lee was sitting on the floor, starting homework, the twins were sniggering to each other quietly, about how Fred tied Oliver's shoelaces together that morning and Chance was lying on the couch, cuddling into Cassie, who was laying in front of him, staring into the fire.

Lee, Fred and George all turned around, to the sudden noise, but Cassie didn't take her eyes from the flames, and Chance had his head, buried in her shoulder. Lee glanced over at Cass.

"Mission accomplished?" He asked. Cassies grin grew wider.

"Depends." She replied with, slyly. Fred and George looked at the girl, with pride written all over their faces. Fred narrowed his eyes slightly at Chance, as he was avoiding looking at them for a reason. But he knew, that there was nothing going on between the two.

Katie Bell came toppling down the stairs, at this, Cassie finally removed her gaze from the fire. Katie shook her head at Cass, as if she was expecting such behavior, but still had that slim of hope something like this, wouldn't happen.

"Really? Really.....? Angelina came bursting out of the shower, trying to get tadpoles out of her hair, with five toads chasing her. Like, what was that?" She breathed out. People around them, seemed to be stifling their laughter.

"A success." Cassie answered simply. Katie sighed, as the boys nodded their heads proudly in agreement.

"And what do you plan on doing with these toads?" Katie spoke as if she was talking to a five year old. Cassie raised her eyebrows challengingly.

"I plan on giving them to all the kids who couldn't afford to buy any pets. Is there a problem with that?"

At this, Lee, Fred and George stared at her in awe, she hadn't told them about that part. Katie just got red in the face and stuttered. "No! No of course not. Just-just wondering. Brilliant idea by the way, very-very sweet of you really."

Cassies face remained blank, for a moment, then a soft smile appeared on her face. "You can help me give them out if you like." Katie gaped a bit and fiddled with her hands.

"I'd love to, thanks Cass." Then she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, when she realized what position Cassie was in. "Kingston? What are you doing here? Or even better, why are you spooning Cass?"

Cassandra glanced over her shoulder a bit, checking on Chance, who still hasn't moved a muscle. "He's pouting because his 'sunshine' is in the library, with pretty boy Diggory." The Slytherin grumbled a bit.

"Go away." He mumbled, while tightening his grip around her.

"You holding me, eject." Cass grinned, getting comfortable again.

"Shut up." His voice still came out muffled and he reached out to cover Cassies mouth, with his arm.

Katie, nodded her head. "Right." She then ran back up to Angelina, who had begun screaming again.

"Poor tadpoles, probably suffering in Angelinas stink." Cassie sighed sadly, through Chances sleeve. Lee gave her a look.

"You were the one who came up with the idea, and set it up."

"Yeah and-."

"Shhhhhh." Chance cut her off. Cassie snapped her attention to him straight away, not bothering to carry on with Lee.

"You want me to just shut up and let you cling to me?" She asked, Chance nodded his head. George half expected her to flip him over her and shove him onto the floor, but instead she snuggled into the couch close to him and replied with a simple, "ok."

"Last one!" Katie called out, while Cassie held a tiny toad out, in the palms of her hands. Surprisingly, many less fortunate people, came over to get a toad from the two girls. One or two of the older students, attempted to give them some money in return, but they rejected it straight away. Now only one slimy creature remained.

A timid girl, with long brown hair and Gryffindor robes, walked up to them. Cassie believed she was part of the Longbottem family tree.

"Hello, could I please have the last toad? My great uncle wants to give my cousin a gift for using magic, for the first time.....and well, Nevilles always wanted a toad, so..."

Cassie smiled warmly at the older girl and handed her the toad. "Of course. Also, I would go to McGonagall, she could sort something out to make sure he's delivered safely."

Longbottem thanked her and strolled back to friends. Katie turned to Cassie and sucked in a breath. "Well, that was easier than expected." She examined the room for a moment and spoke in a low voice. "I'd like you to know, that I think Angelina deserved it, what she said was extremely out of order. It was also hilarious, to see her panic about her hair so much."

The girls laughed softly with each other, completely unaware of Fred on the other side of the room, at a small table, with Lee and George, smiling fondly at Cassie.

George turned to see what had captured his other half's attention, but it wasn't hard to guess. What he seen, confirmed his suspicions. He smiled over at Cassie, he wouldn't tell her this, but he did admire the girl a bit. For a lot of things really, for sticking up for  random people in the hallways, against bullies, for giving out the toads and for being there for her friends, when they needed her.

He set his gaze back on Fred, who had a silly smile plastered on his face, staring dreamily at their best friend. "Brilliant isn't she." Fred nodded his head in agreement, not taking his eyes off Cass. George spotted a certain Scottish boy, glancing over at the same girl, while Percy ranted his ear off, about the mud in their dorm.

"You know tying his shoelaces together, making him face plant, isn't gonna stop him from trying to talk with Cass. Tough competition, he is. Older, Scottish accent, Keeper, and you heard Charlie, he gonna make him capt-, why you looking at me like that?"

This shook Fred from his daze and gave George weird look, then his words registered and he gaped at him. Lee piped in. "Yeah, she fancy's him a bit, doesn't she? If I were you Fred, well, I'd try work on that." George nodded and Fred squinted his eyes.

"What does that even me-, wait, what? Guys, I don't like Cassie like that, she my-." His twin, cut him off.

"Friend......my best friend." He stated, bringing his hands up to his chin and gazing off, with an overly exaggerated dreamy look across his face. Fred scoffed.

"What is that supposed to be me, really?"

Lee sniggered and George continued his impression, until Charlie came over and clapped him on the back. "Thinking about Cassie again are we Fred?" He questioned George. "That's the fifth time I've caught you, and that's only counting since we got back to Hogwarts."

The real Fred widened his eyes, as Lee and George burst out laughing. Charlie stood there confused, while the pair held their sides, trying to catch their breaths, leaning over each other.

"Ohhh, I've got a stitch." Lee managed to get out. George nodded his head, not being able to say anything. Fred sat there, glaring at them, he turned his attention to his older brother and whispered harshly.

"It wasn't five times." He drawled out. Charlie studied him and then studied the other twin, a look of realization washed over his features. Then he scrunched up his nose at Fred and gave him a look, to say, 'really?' Fred's face turned into one of offense, but then he slumped and shrugged his shoulders. Charlie hummed.
