"So." Katie started, glancing awkwardly at the two girls, Cassie was messing with her new quidditch robes Charlie gave her, and Angelina was posing in the mirror. "Are you two like....friends now?" Both girls turned to look at her, not even glancing at each other and answered simultaneously.
"Ew, no."
They then, both snapped their heads to the other one, offense written all over their faces. They both scoffed, turned away and began muttering under their breaths.
"What a bitch."
Katie rocked back and forth on her heals, hands locked together in front of her, she opened her mouth to say something, but then shook her head and shut it. Instead she glanced around the room and noticed an empty bed.
"Hey where's Alicia?"
Angelina shrugged her shoulders and let out a huff. "I don't know, she's not in her bed." Cassie rolled her eyes and snarled.
"Well yeah no shit, detective." She turned to Katie and softened her gaze. "She probably just wanted to get ahead on breakfast, so she could squeeze in some studying before class."
Katie blushed a little bit and smiled at her. Angelina piped in quiet loudly, while trying to brush a knot from her hair. "You know she still hasn't got her book back, it's been a couple days."
"Oh, I managed to get Caterinas book back." Cass stated casually, both Angelina and Katie stopped whatever they were doing and turned her, Cassie paid no mind and began putting her runners on.
Angelina clicked her tongue off the roof of her mouth and shared a look with Katie, nudging her head to Cass. Katie shook her head quickly, causing Angelina to raise her eyebrows impatiently. Katie sighed and cleared her throat.
"Well, is she ok?" Cassie shrugged her shoulders.
"What Cat? Yeah she's fine, she even knitted me gloves as a thank you. You know what's weird though, she was about to give me a hat but-."
"No, no, no," Katie cut in, "is the Slytherin girl ok?"
Cassandra froze, thinking back to the blonde Slytherin. She remembered storming up the corridors, to the group of girls, searching for one in particular. When she spotted her, she towered over the girl threateningly, the girl turned red and couldn't get two words out without stuttering, so one of her friends pulled Cassie back and-.
"Cassie?" Angelina snapped her out of her trance, Cass cringed slightly and clamped her hands together.
"I just thought...that she...looked better with a broken nose." She stated simply, "you know, it gives her that rebellious look you know. Slytherins are all into that shit." She then paused and ran her finger along her bed frame nervously. "McGonagall didn't think so."
She then ran out of the dorm, with one runner on, shouting about leaving Alicia on her own. There was a long silence, before Katie decided to speak up.
