"Well, he may be a nervous wreck, who can't get two words out without stuttering." Cassandra spoke over everyone's complaining about their DADA Professor. "But at least he's not mad, or some cocky little shit, who thinks he knows everything, at least we actually learn something."
People thought about her words, nodding along, agreeing with the girl. Then Cassie clicked her tongue of the roof of her mouth and paused.
"Although, I'm not a fan of that turban. I don't know, I just, get a bad vibe from it, like he's hiding something under it." They all gazed at her, Fred snorted in laughter.
"Maybe he's just got a really ugly mole, on the back of his head." He sniggered, Cassie smirked.
"I bet it shaped like a head." She added. "That's probably why he's so nervous all the time, the heads always watching him." Cassie spoke in a breathy, voice, like she was telling a scary story.
Ron and Harry sniggered together, while Hermione tried her best to hide her grin. Caterina rolled her eyes at her friends childishness, Chance was smirking, but then saw Cats face and faked a loud scoff.
Lee and George then waddled through the Great Halls doors, dressed in many, many layers of clothing. Cassandra straight up laughed at them, along with Ron, Harry, Fred and Lee, while both Caterina and Hermione, bit back their laughs.
"Before we go," Cassie stared, "we should roll you both down that hill around the big tree."
"It would be like rolling a ball down the stairs." Fred added, smirking at Cassies grin. Lee and George rolled their eyes in response, not being able to speak due to their scarfs that Cat knit them.
When all the third years stood, the first years faces dropped. Harry was the first to speak up. "Where you all going?" He asked innocently, Ron sighed.
"Third years get to go to Hogsmeade-." Hermione interrupted him.
"It's a small village, with shops and restaurants, all sorts of places." Ron narrowed his eyes at her, while Cat smiled at the pair.
Cassie strolled at the front of the group, leading them, a bounce in her steps. Lee coughed, getting everyone's attention. "We're still doing the Kris Kringle right?" They all nodded and he sighed with relief.
Cassie smiled brightly, she got Caterina and had already bought her present. Cass noticed a week or two ago, that Cat was reading the second book of a muggle series, but she didn't have the last of the trilogy. So Cass had owled Cats parents, as she couldn't get the muggle book in Hogsmeade, and sent them enough money for them to go out and buy the book, then owl it to Cass.
So while everyone was setting out today, getting gifts for one another, Cassie had something else trailing her thoughts.
On their way out, Cass spotted Dumbledore, his eyes never leaving her. The girl went to give him the finger but was stopped by Caterina, who dragged her forward. Training had been going better, Cassie was now able to ignite little flames, on the tips of her fingers. Although the ash would appear, so she would have to put them out before it got painful. Still, they were getting somewhere, but this did not make Cass like Dumbledore, any more.
