Oliver Wood stood in front of a group of Gryffindors, broom in hand, ready to start tryouts. All he needed was two more chasers, as the last two, Ragnor and Rhysand, quit. Oliver scanned the crowd with furrowed eyebrows, last tryouts, there wasn't this many people for chasers. A look of realization washed over his features, as he got everyone's attention.

"Anyone who's here to tryout for Seeker, better go back up to the castle, because and eleven year old boy, rode a broom for the first time a few days ago, and McGonagall gave him the Seeker position before asking me or letting me see him play," he paused, hearing the groans of frustration from the crowd, he nodded awkwardly, "sorry 'bout that."

With that, more than half the people left. Cassandra glanced around at everyone, seeing almost no new faces from last year. She wanted to wave at Angelina and Katie, but decided against it.

When her and Oliver made eye contact, he gave her a confused look, strolled over, grabbed her shoulders and led her to where the actual team was standing. She had been mixed in with everyone who was trying out. She studied Oliver's face, with question.

"Wait," she started, "I'm still on the team?" The older boy, gave her a nod as if the answer was obvious. Cass shook her head. "But what if I got like, really shite over the Summer?"

"Well, did you?" He asked in reply, Cass looked offended at this.

"How dare you. Of course I didn't." She scoffed. "The audacity." Oliver grinned down at her, while the twins, who were standing behind her, sniggered. George gazed up at the castle in wonder.

"Has anyone actually spoken to Ragnor and Rhysand lately, like are they ok?" He questioned, in concern, Cassie smirked. She thought back to a few days ago, when she was wondering around the library and caught the two snogging. They had begged her not to tell anybody, all the while, Cassie just nodded with a big grin on her face.

"Oh," she huffed out, a mischievous glint in her eye, "they're ok alright." The trio gave her odd looks, but she didn't notice.

Oliver started the tryouts, Cassie and the twins flew around observing everyone, while they played. Cassandra kept sneaking up on people, scaring them, until Oliver gave out to her. She was made to sit on the bench after. Fred stuck his tongue out at her teasingly and she did the same in response.

While huffing in boredom, taking her eyes off the players, Cassie scanned the area. She saw a couple of student just hanging around, some were smoking, some were laughing and there was even a couple snogging against a tree. Cassie cringed and glanced the other way, squinting her eyes at a familiar figure.

An older Hufflepuff boy, leaned his arm over Zephyr, his face close to hers. A strange feeling, ran through Cassandras veins. Her face hardened, as she stared the two down. She felt as if she wanted-, no, needed to strut over there and take Zephyr away from the boy. Her jaw clenched, as he ran his hand through his hair.
