"I want to see you in my office tomorrow morning." Dumbledore mumbled to Cassandra, while walking down the hallway to the Great Hall. Cassie shook her head, not registering who was talking to her.

"Yeah I don't do mornings. Wait, office? Wha-, oh Professor. Hola! I mean-, hello." She stuttered, then straighten her back, thinking back to the last time they spoke. He had sent her back to Harper Manor, even with Oswald personally requesting that she stay somewhere else, for her own safety.

Wanting to know why the Headmaster wanted to see her, she went to walk with him, but he sped up. Cassies eyebrows shot up at his speed in surprise and confusion. She picked up her pace, calling after him, but the crowds in the hall grew and Dumbledore got further and further away.

Cassie rolled her eyes at the man and gave up, finally being able to listen to the rumble of hunger coming from her belly, she strolled into the Great Hall. As she sauntered past a group of girls, an aggressive whispering was heard. A final, 'don't you dare,' was hissed, before someone bumped into Cassies back.

She turned around and grabbed the persons upper arms, to make sure they didn't fall over. The girl let out a high pitched giggle, which frightened Cassie slightly. Cass awkwardly forced out a laugh, then smiled at the girl, going to turn around. The girl seemed familiar, but she couldn't place her finger on it.

Before Cassandra could leave, the green eyed girl grabbed onto her arm and dragged the tips of her fingers along her sleeve. Cassie furrowed her eyebrows and glanced around the hall, hoping to catch one of her friends eyes.

"Hey, Cassie." The girl squeaked. Cassandra nodded her head, with a crooked, awkward smirk.

"Hello." She replied stiffly, normally when people she didn't know spoke to her, she was friendly and easy to talk to, but Cass didn't like the way the girl had latched herself onto her.

It felt wrong, but not because she didn't know her, it felt as if she didn't want anyone in particular thinking certain things, but Cassie couldn't figure out who that someone was.

The girl stepped closer to her, her face inches away. Cassie sucked in a breath and leaned back, her eyes darting anywhere but the girl. "I was just thinking about, classes and stuff." The girl drawled her words out, twirling her wavy, black hair with her fingers, that she hadn't clung to Cassies arm with.

Cassie coughed. "Like food? 'Cause man, I'm absolutely starving and there's a plate of waffles calling my name." She grinned, turning her body slightly, hoping her hint was obvious enough. The girl giggled, causing Cassies face to scrunch up slightly, but she smiled and nodded along.

"I could think of a couple of things that could call out your name." The girl whispered, Cass blinked harshly, not entirely sure if this was real or not.

"I'm sorry," Cassie paused, "who are you again?" She questioned. The girls green eyes went wide and a loud groan of frustration was heard from behind her. When Cassie went to glance around the girl, to see who it was, the girl walked closer to her, blocking the view.
