The next morning at breakfast Caterina sat beside Chance, as she read her book. She was on the very last page and when she finished the final sentence, she looked mind blown.
Chance smiled softly at Cat and chuckled, making her playfully roll her eyes. Then Chances face fell and he coughed slightly, straightening his back. Cedric strolled over, nodding in hello to the boy, who gave him a tight lipped smile and glanced away, doing his best to ignore him.
"Good morning sweetheart." Cedric chirped, sliding onto the bench beside Cat, putting his arm around her shoulders. Cassie caught sight of this and quickly strolled over. Not before ruffling Ron and Harry's hair teasingly in goodbye, after talking to them about a bully in their year, some Slytherin boy who bleaches his hair.
She sat down slowly, keeping a cautious eye on Cedrics arm. She glanced at Chance sympathetically and he simply raised his eyebrows gently in reply.
Caterina giggled into Cedrics shoulder, as he whispered something to her. Then Cedric spoke out to the group. "Well, Cat and I better head to class if we wanna get seats with each other, so see ya." They both stood from the table and Chance cleared his throat loudly, he kicked at Cassie, who perked up.
"Yeah, I get it," he spoke loudly, "Cassie and I have the same problem, people are always getting in the- our, our way you know. Right......sweet-heart?" He choked out awkwardly. Cassie nodded enthusiastically, not being able to say anything, with the water in her mouth.
Cedric smiled politely at them and led Cat away, holding her hand. Chance grinned at him until they were gone, then scoffed loudly, rolling his eyes. Down the table, Ron narrowed his eyes at Chance suspiciously, glancing between him and Cassie.
Chance turned to Cassie, with a certain look. "Next time something like that happens, you need to be ready, I cannot carry this whole team." Cassie grinned and scrunched her nose up, swallowing a bit of toast.
"Sorry, sweetheart." She teased, Ron widened his eyes and practically ran down the table. He plopped down beside Cassie, squinting at Chance and for the rest of breakfast, yapped on about some girl in his class that was getting on his nerves, making Cass smirk.

Cassandra strolled into Dumbledores office, as the door was already open. Professor McGonagall, Sinistra, Snape and Dumbledore were crowed around the desk. Snape sighed loudly in frustration.
"I swear," he drawled on, "when I was walking by, he specifically said, 'right sweetheart', so I want my money." Sinistra tutted and shook her head.
"You do not see the way she looks at Ze-." Cassie faked an over exaggerated cough, almost actually choking in the process. The Professors snapped their heads to the sound, shuffling away from each other seeing the girl.
