The Sorting ceremony went the same as it did every year, with the exception of the boy who lived being called up. His name got a few gasps and he got sorted into Gryffindor, along with Ron.

After that, they all headed up to the common room. When Cassandra entered her dorm, whispers and shushes were heard from Alicia and Katie. Cassie raised her eyebrows slightly, but over all, ignored their hushed conversation, which included Katie giving her an odd look.

When all the girls climbed into bed, not a sound was to be heard, apart from Angelinas snoring of course. The noise didn't effect Cassie at all, as she was use to it by now, but she has to admit to being close to smothering the girl with a pillow in their first year.

In second year, the snoring actually comforted Cassandra a lot when she would wake up from nightmares. It would assure her that she was in Hogwarts and despite the death traps they call staircases and the deadly and dangerous creatures that lived, practically in their backyard, in the Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts was safe.

But that night, Cassie was tossing and turning, trying to put herself to sleep. She wasn't tired one bit, so she did the most logical thing she could think of.

Fred heard a small knock on the door and rubbed his eyes, confused as to why someone would want to come in so late at night. The door creaked open and he heard a familiar voice.

"What-, no shush, be quiet-, shut up." Cassie hushed to the wooden frame. Fred grinned and spoke up, making the girl jump slightly.

"Wow," he started, teasingly, "you have so many hidden talents you know that? Quidditch, the whole fire thing, ice-skating," Cass rolled her eyes at that, strolling over to his bed, "and now you've become a door whisperer, impressive. I wonder what will be next, maybe we can get you to train a troll. Now where could we get a tro-."

He was cut off by Cassie bringing the bed covers over his face. They both sniggered and Fred shoved the material away, grinning at the sound of Cassies laugh.

"Shouldn't you be sleeping?" He asked. Cassie nodded her head like the answer was obvious.

"In bed with you? Yes." She replied, Fred smirked and grabbed her hips, tackling her into the bed. They both laughed, but ended up getting a pillow to the face, by George, who had been woken up by the pair.

Fred and Cass held their breaths, trying to be quieter. Not being very good at that, they chatted and laughed together, until Cassie fell asleep in Fred's arms. He smiled and kissed the girl on the head.

"Sweet dreams." He whispered, then followed her soon after, going into a deep sleep.

Cassandra grinned as she caught sight of a certain blonde Slytherin, strolling along the hallways. She lightly jogged up to her and walked backwards facing the girl, with a grin on her face.
