"Who are you" a high pitched voice said
I turned around to see the girl who was at the pool.
"I'm Skylar, what's your name?" I asked politely
"Arielle, what are you doing here?" She asked
"I'm a friend of Tyler's" I said
"Why does he need another kid here, especially one like you" she said
Ouch, what did I do. I know I'm underdeveloped and underweight but doesn't mean I don't have feelings
"Arielle" miss isabella said
"What do you want" Arielle replied with attitude. She seemed very spoiled
"Don't be rude to the guest" she said
"Do you want me to get you fired" Arielle said with attitude
Miss isabella didn't say anything
"I'm gonna talk to my mom about this" Arielle said walking away
"I'm sorry miss isabella, I shouldn't have come down here if I knew she would be here" I said shaking my head, disappointed and angry at myself
" it's okay sweetie, Arielle has said that to me multiple times and I'm still here" she replied
"Well I'm still sorry" I said
"It's okay sweetie, it isn't your fault" she replied
"Isabella" I heard with a singing tone
Giovanni popped up through the doors walking into the kitchen
"Gio" she replied with a singing tone
"Hey Skylar" Giovanni said to me
"Hi giovanni" I replied
"How are you feeling" he asked
"Good just bored in my room, Tyler doesn't let me outside" I replied immediately regretting what I said realizing what I said about Tyler.
"Sorry I shouldn't have said that" I said fidgeting with my fingers mentally cursing myself for talking bad about Tyler
I was waiting for backlash, for him to scream out and cause me pain
"He can be an ass, I'll convince him" Giovanni said
"No it's fine, I can just watch tv upstairs" I said not wanting to upset Tyler anymore. I was scared of him, scared of what he would do to me
"No, you need some vitamin D" he replied
He walked out of the kitchen and couple minutes later he came back
"Ok, go out your shoes on" he said
"He said yes?" I asked
"Yup, now go put your shoes on" he said
I went up the stairs and put on my old shoes which had holes in it but at least I had a pair of shoes.
I went down the stairs and we went outside. It felt great being outside. The fresh California air with a slight breeze. I never experienced this because Seattle was always raining
"Do you play any sports?" Giovanni asked
"I played soccer but I mainly skateboard" I replied
"You skateboard?" He questioned
"Yeah, my skateboard is in Seattle at the house. It was one of the last thing my mom gave me" I said
"Do you miss skateboarding?" He asked
