Chapter 13-Dinner

The next morning was more painful that yesterday. I think the pain meds wore off.  I grabbed the phone and called the kitchen to see if Anders was there

"Hello" Anders said

"Anders, may I have breakfast and my medicine, I'm in more pain than yesterday" I said

"Of course, would you like fruit again?" He asked

"Sure" I said

"Ok, it will be up shortly" he replied

"Thank you" I said

I put the phone down and waited for the food to come up.

After a few minutes a knock was heard

"Come in" I said

"Hi, Miss Skylar. Here is your fruit, pain meds, and orange juice" he said

"Thank you" I replied

"Of course" he said

He left the room and I ate breakfast and took my medicine.

I needed to shower but I don't know how to with two cast on.

I got up and onto the wheelchair. I went to elevator, going downstairs. Once I reached, I headed to Tyler's office.

I hope he wasn't busy, I don't want to disturb him.

I knocked on the door.

Shit, what if he has a meeting. I should have just asked Anders

If he doesn't notice I'll just go back. Maybe he didn't hear the knock?

"Come in" I heard on the other side

I opened the door and wheeled myself in

"Yes Skylar" Tyler said

"So I need to shower, and Dr. Sofia really didn't explain how I showed with them cast on. Is it possible I can call her and ask?" I asked

"Yes, here I will write down her number and the phone connected to the room you can call her on there" he said

"Thank you" I replied

"Oh and I forgot to mention yesterday. Isabella will be taking you shopping this week, unless you prefer online shopping?" He asked

"Umm, I don't mind shopping but I don't have the money for it" I said

"No worries it's on me. I am your father now so that mean my money is yours" he replied

"Ok, thank you" I said

"Of course, and here is the number" he replied

"Thanks" I said

I grabbed the number and went upstairs. I called dr. Sophia.

"Hello" she said

"Hi dr. Sophia, this is Skylar. I was wondering how I shower with the casts on?" I asked

"Hi Skylar, what you want to do is get plastic bags or trash bags and get tape" she said

She explained how to put it on and to make sure I don't get it wet.

I asked Anders for some supplies and to help me get the wraps on. Once I did I got in the shower and sat down. I couldn't stand up much so I sat on the floor or the little ledge in the bathroom. It is where all of my shower items are. It was big enough for me to sit there.

after taking a long nice shower I got out and changed into a pair of clothing that was in the closet. I let me hair dry naturally, I look to see my hair was so dead because I never took care of it properly. I had split ends, and very dead. Hopefully my hair will be better now since I will take care of it.
