July

June went by quick, and I was hoping July won't because I'm not ready for school yet. Tyler moved into an apartment closer to his office so I could stay with him throughout the week. Originally it was going to be the house but because I have issues with it, Tyler insisted on getting an apartment until the house is ready.

"Skylar is your bag packed?" Grandma asked?

"Yup" I replied yelling over the staircase, leaning over to see her.

"Ok, your dad will be here any minute" she craned her neck up

"Ok" I gave her a thumbs up, grabbing my bag and ash. I walked down the stairs, waiting outside for Tyler. I hear a honk from him as he pulls up, getting up from the chair.

"Morning" I said

"Good morning" he grabbed my bag as I put ash in the back seat. "So I have to go to the office in 2 hours, have you eaten breakfast?"

"Not yet" I replied

"Ok, so how about we grab some breakfast and then I'll drop you to the apartment so you can take your daily nap. I'll try to be home before dinner, and you can have your friend over so you aren't bored." He drove off heading to our favorite restaurant

"Okay" I nodded as I turn on the radio. I change the dial until I recognize a song. Humble by Kendrick Lamar plays. As the song plays, I notice Tyler humming to the music

"You know this song?" I questioned looking surprised

"Yes, are you shocked?" He asked looking confused

"Yes, I thought you listen to classical shit" I laughed

"Well I don't" he turned up the music louder and started screaming the lyrics. We reached the breakfast place and right away when we got the table we ordered the food. Ash was giving the eyes where he was begging for food so I stole a bit of Tyler's bacon and giving it "hey, why'd you do that" he whined

"What, my dog was giving me those eyes. I can't deprive him of food" I shrugged

"Then give him your food" he pointed

"No that's my food" I argued, rolling his eyes at me, he took a bite of my food. We were like children who would constantly bicker. Once we were done eating breakfast we headed to the apartment. I said my daily hello to Marcus who works at the front desk then made my way up to the apartment.

When Tyler got the apartment, he definitely didn't hold back which makes me wonder how much money he has. We had a high rise apartment overlooking the city and at night it's insanely pretty. I want to live in an apartment like this, either in Los Angeles or in New York. The apartment building has a gym, an indoor lap pool, a rooftop pool, a whole bowling alley and more I have yet to explore.

"Hey I have to head out, be good and if you get hungry order some food" Tyler grabbed his jacket and his bag. He headed towards the door before turning around and walking towards me, planting a kiss on my head. "Love you and text me if you need me" he shouted as he quickly ran to the door and exited

"Well ash, are you ready for our nap?" I looked at him as he wagged his tail. "That's a yes to me" I walked towards my bedroom, turned on my fan, closed the blinds, put ash on the bed and got under the covers.

I slept for about 3 hours until my phone started ringing

"Hello" I answered groggily

"Hey Skylar, just checking in on you. Are you okay?" Tyler asked

"Yeah, you woke me up from my nap" I groaned looking at the time.

"Sorry, well go back to bed. I'll see you later, bye" he hung up the phone as I placed my phone under my pillow. As I was about to fall asleep my phone rings again, angrily packing it up "what"
