November

October went by quickly, and we were halfway through November. Soccer season has officially begun and I am on varsity team again as well as captain of the team. My grades are back to normal, the tutor has been very helpful and I am still doing club soccer. I took coach Megan's advice and started a new hobby

Puzzles

It's time consuming but it helps me destress and actually can be very fun and rewarding. Driving has been great and I love being able to go places and not having to rely on anyone to drive me places.

"Ok girls that's practice. Remember first game is Monday so be prepared and play hard." Coach Megan said as we grab our bags. I head back into the locker room and change into my crocs. Once I finish changing I went outside and headed to my car.

"Hey" Anthony smiled as he comes out of basketball practice sweaty.

"Eww don't hug me" I scrunched my nose placing distance between us as he continues to try to hug me.

"What are you doing for Thanksgiving break?" He asked

"Nothing, what about you?" I questioned as I put my stuff in the car

"Going to Maryland, I have family out there" He replied

"That sounds fun, are you gone the whole break?" I asked

"Yeah but it isn't as fun because most of all of my cousins are either really young or really old" He replied as I mouthed 'ohh'

"Have fun with that" I laughed.

"Boy back inside" The boys basketball coach yelled. "I'll see you tomorrow, have fun with" I smiled as I gave him a quick kiss and then headed inside my car. I turned on the car and plugged in my phone to turn on spotify and headed home.

When I got home, I dropped my bags and grabbed my soccer schedule.

"First game is Monday, here is the rest" I walked into Tyler's office and set down the paper.

"I'll be there" He replied

"Great" I said as I left the office and headed upstairs. I took a shower then started doing my homework

Monday

Today was our first game and I was very excited but I had a lot of pressure has captain. We were all warming up and even though the team we are versing isn't that hard, I still had to put my 110 percent because of scouts

"Girls bring it in" Coach called out as we ran it in. "Ok here who is starting" She said calling out the names, mine in included. "Let's start with blue, play blue" she said calling out the play we all know. When the buzzer rang, we knew it was time to play

"Team captains" The refs called out as I jogged to the middle. I met the team captain for the other team and shook hands

"Heads or tails?" Ref asked as I picked heads. He flipped the coin it was heads

"Beverly starts" he called out as we start.

Play hard Skylar, play hard.

The game was easy, we were destroying the other team and I honestly didn't even need to play today and we would still beat them. By the end of the game it was 7-1 and this game was rather fun for us than actual a game that was important. At the end we lined up and high five the other team and went back to our bench

"Girls, just because you won doesn't mean you didn't play well. You guys were sloppy so tomorrow at practice get ready to run" she warned as we all groaned. "Now go home and rest because tomorrow you won't feel your legs"
