Chapter 44-christmas

I look up into the stands to see a well dressed Tyler in his suit running to his family. He actually came and it looks like he came from work.

He actually came

The starters and I got on the field and the game started. 1/4th of the first half wasn't even done yet and I was dying. I was coughing a lot and it was harder to breathe due to my illness I'm still getting over.

I needed a time out badly to get some air.

"Time out" my coach called. I ran towards the bench and grabbed my water. I started coughing more and ran to the trash can, spitting the phlegm that was building up

"Skylar, I'm taking you out" coach said

"I'm fine" I replied

"You're not, now sit. Margo you're in" my coach said. I sat on the bench, letting Margo in. I drank my water and watch the team play.

I have been sitting out for the majority of the game. There was 1/4th left and I wanted to get back in the game.

"Coach, I'm fine now. Please let me back in" I said

"Fine" she said. She called out Margo and put me back in.

"Yeah Skylar" my family cheered which embarrassed me. I looked up to the stands to see them all cheering

I got back in and played for the rest of the time, I got two assist and a goal which I was very excited about it.

It was 6-3 and it was a good game and I was excited my family was here.

"Good game girls" my coach said to all of us as we gathered our stuff. "I will see you after the break" she said

My family came down to the field as I finished packing up

"Skylar, I need to talk to you" coach Megan said

"Yeah" I replied

"I need a doctor to clear you to play. I can't have you sick and playing at the same time" she said

"Coach I'm fine though" I said

"I had to call a time out for you. You were practically dying on the field. During break take time to heal and get me a doctors note. Once I see you're fine and a doctor clears you then you can go back on the field" she said

"Ok, fine" I sighed

"Good job out there" she said

"Thank you" I replied. I got up to see my family waiting for me

"You did great out there" Tyler said

"Thank you" I replied

"How are you feeling? I saw you running to the trash can" Tyler said

"Fine, it was the phlegm and now I need a doctors note to clear me to play next game" I said

"We will get your aunt to clear you" he replied

"I'll do what?" Aunt sophia said

"Clear me to play" I replied

"I will but not until you're 100 percent fine. I saw you out there. Your father was ready to jump off the bleachers to check on you" she said

"Ok" I replied

"Hey, you'll be fine after you come back from Italy" she said

Oh yeah I forgot I'm going to Italy in 3 days.

"Yeah" I mumbled not excitedly. I didn't know what to expect, it's out of my control and I'm going on a long flight.

"How long will we be in Italy?" I asked
