I checked the roster, looking at the last name.
My name
"Holy shit" I said looking at it. I kept refreshing, making sure it was my name. I run down the stairs with my computer, finding Ander
"Does this say my name?" I asked
"Yes, what is it?" He asked
"The varsity soccer team" I replied
"You made it, congratulations" He said
"I made it" I jumped excitedly
"What is with the yelling?" Miss Isabella asked
"I am on the varsity soccer team" I replied
"Yay" she said cheering with both of us
"What's with the cheering?" Michael asked
"I got in" I said
"Let's go, I told you" He replied. We all started cheering and we heard one more voice
"What's with the cheering?" Tyler asked
"I got on the varsity soccer team" I said
"Congratulations" He replied
"Thank you" I said
"This calls for a celebration. I'm gonna get started on the cake" Miss Isabella sad
"No, that's not needed" I replied
"You deserve it, what flavor?" Miss Isabella asked
"uhh chocolate" I replied
"Perfect, I'll get started on it" she said
"Thank you" I replied
As she got started with the cake I texted Ava congratulating her as well. We ate the only sophomore on the varsity team.
My phone started ringing and I see it's max
"Hello" I said
"Congratulations" he cheered
"Thank you" I replied
"When is your first game?" He asked
"Good question, I will find out soon" I replied
"I'm gonna watch every game of yours. I pinky promise" he said
"Woah, that's a big promise" I said jokingly.
"I've never broken a pinky promise before" he said
"Keep that up then" I replied
"I will, I have to go now but I just wanted to tell you congratulations" he said
"Thank you, I'll see you tomorrow, bye" I replied
"Bye" he said
An hour later, dinner was served and I ate dinner and had the cake Miss Isabella made.
I got a text from Anthony saying congratulations which was nice of him.
I did my homework and once I finished I changed and got into my bed. I got a text on a groupchat with a bunch of my friends. They all want to hang out tomorrow at max's house.
I went downstairs and knocked on Tyler's office
"Come in" he said
"Uhh, max invited me over tomorrow to hang out with a couple of my other friends. Could I go?" I asked
"Yes, be home by 7. The rest of our family is coming over" he said. He hasn't really said much "our" and it was only his family
"Ok" I replied. I exited his office and went upstairs, saying I could go. After talking to some friends, I headed to bed.
