Chapter 47-Home

The rest of the trip was very fun, probably the most fun I have ever had. We went to so many cool spots and I got so many pictures of the places. I never wanted to leave but sadly I had school and even though I begged Tyler to switch schools and move here he said no, but he did say we can come back in the summer.

"Skylar, when we get back home I will have to fly out the next day for a work conference in New York so Gio will stay will you" He stated

"Ok, when will you be back?" I asked

"Monday afternoon" He replied to which I was shocked. Today was Saturday so he would be gone for the whole week.

"Ok, well have a good trip" I said

"Thanks, be good at school and make sure to watch over Gio" He said making me laugh

"Hey, I can take care of myself" Gio defended

"You're wearing two different socks" Tyler pointed out to which I covered my mouth trying to hide the smile

"I purposely did that, I ran out of socks" He stated

"Wait, those are my socks" I said shocked

"You have big feet" Gio stated

"No I don't, you have small feet" I defended myself

"Keep dreaming" Gio laughed to which I flipped him off. It turned to both of us flipping each other off along with stupid faces and Tyler had to break up the fight between us.

The remainder of the flight wasn't too bad and once we landed I immediately fell asleep. I start school Monday but i don't know if I'll be able to go back right away because I still have to adjust my sleep schedule.

When I woke up I looked at the time to see it's 3:07am but morning time in Italy. I go downstairs to grab some water and hopefully find some melatonin. Passing by I see Tyler's office light on, I walk over and peak inside to see Tyler working

"What are you doing up?" I asked

"Skylar, it's late" he replied

"Well jet lag loves me so much" i sarcastically said

"It loves me too" he replied

"I have a question, if my sleep schedule isn't fixed by Monday, can I skip school?" I asked

"Fine but only Monday" he said to which I let out a cheer. He shook his head but i could see a smile on his face

"Go to bed skylar, I don't want you complaining saying you are tired tomorrow" he sternly said. I said goodbye and goodnight then grabbed the water and melatonin and headed back upstairs. I tried falling back asleep but couldn't so I turned on the tv and watched some shows I missed.

When the sun came up I went downstairs to make some breakfast but it was already made by Miss Isabella.

"How was your trip?" Miss Isabella asked

"Amazing, it was the best. I want to travel the world even more now" I exclaimed.

"That sounds like a great trip, did you bond with Tyler?" She asked

"Yeah I think, I mean he showed me this cool spot he wanted to take my mom" I rambled

"That sounds like you two are getting long" she cheerfully replied

"Yeah" I said. I started eating breakfast and went back upstairs to start unpacking my luggage. I put all my dirty clothes in the hamper and got tired so I sat back on my bed and fell asleep.

"Skylar" I heard a voice call out. I shifted myself and pulled the blanket up

"Skylar, wake up" the voice started shaking me too which I wanted to kick them
