First day of school was a bit more hectic than expected. Teachers are already assigning homework and we haven't even learned anything, the new freshman have taken multiple peoples spots at lunch so now the usual groups who sit at their usual tables had to switch around making it hard for us to find a table to eat at, and lastly I have soccer pre season starting in a week.
"Am I dropping you home?" Anthony asked as I sat on the bench outside the gym.
"No, my dad is picking me up." I replied looking at my phone to see a text from Tyler saying he's five minutes away
"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow morning. I love you" he said before giving me a kiss goodbye and heading to his car. I said bye and soon enough Tyler appeared in his car. I go over, quickly opening the door and shutting it after I get in
"How was school" Tyler asked as I put my seatbelt on
"Fine, I have pre season for soccer next week" I replied adjusting the seat in the car
"Already that's quick" he gave a strange look as I agree with him. I wish I had more relax time but I guess not
"I know but it's whatever, I guess if we want to win cif again we have to start training now" I shrugged. The ride home was quick and when I get home immediately collapse onto my bed and took a nap.
When I woke up, I see boxes in my room. I walk out finding Tyler in his room
"Why are there boxes in my room?" I questioned looking at him until I look at his room entirely, stuff everywhere as well as boxes.
"We move in two weeks, we need to start packing now. There are some boxes at my parents house as well so you can pack the stuff from there" he replied as I realized it's almost September. This summer I've been going back and forth and by September I'll be staying full time with Tyler again. Honestly going back and forth definitely helped our father daughter relationship and I've accepted his faults. Tyler changed tremendously and I believe when he says he is sorry for everything. On the other hand, I'm still mad at grandpa Leo. He didn't have the right to keep the information from me especially since it pertained to Lucas.
"Ok, when I go this weekend I'll start packing" I nodded heading out of the room and back into mine. Instead of packing, I did my homework and then watched some tv.
"Skylar pack" Tyler popped in giving a warning look. I rolled my eyes and got up from my bed "fine" I whined, tired and not wanting to do this. I got off my bed and started packing the boxes that I had in my room. I started with clothes since half of these I can't wear because it's too hot to wear them and i wear uniform everyday.
"Sky, dinner" Tyler called out, getting up from the floor I headed to the table we have.
"Are you excited to move?" Tyler asked as we both dive into eating, he made us shrimp linguine and it is actually good. He's been making dinner every night or at least trying to.
"Yeah, I can redecorate my room how I want" I replied as he gave a shocked look
"Hey I decorated your room nicely when you first came in" he shockingly said
"You got a interior designer you didn't do shit" I laughed
"Language" he warned again as I rolled my eyes. We continued eating dinner making conversation with each other about the new house.
"Do you want to see the house this week?" He asked, apparently he got some work done there.
"Sure, I have to start imagining my room anyway" I shrugged as I continue eating food. We continued eating dinner and talk and once we were finished I helped him clean up and then headed to my room to do homework. I quickly did my homework which consisted of me forging Tyler's signature. Once I finished, I turned on my tv and continued packing whatever I already pulled out of my closet.
