Chapter 28-I'm a stranger

"You know the rules" Tyler said

"Come on, it was a side hug" I said

"Six feet apart" he replied

"Six feet apart, I was thinking ten at least" gio said

10 feet apart?

"Well it already happened and he's teaching me how to swim so it's inevitable" I said

"No he's not" Tyler said

"Oh hell no, no pubescent boy is going to see my niece in a swimsuit" gio said

I forgot I had to wear a swimsuit.

"But we made a deal. I'll help him, if he taught me how to swim" I replied

"I'll teach you" Tyler said

That caught me off guard. I never thought he would even swim seeing he's only ever in suits and in his office

"It's fine, I just won't swim" I replied

"Why, I thought you wanted to?" He questioned

"Because you're doing this out of spite because a guy who actually wants to be around me wants to help me. You don't have to do it, I know you don't want to" I said

"I have a therapy appointment now, I have to go" I said walking to the door

"I'll drive you" Tyler replied

"It's fine, you're busy, like always" I mumbled the last part

I opened the door and went to the car

"Hi Michael" I said

"Hi Skylar" he replied

I got in the car and Michael drove me to therapy. I went upstairs and signed in. Dr. Genevieve called me in and I sat down on the couch

"Why the glum face?" She asked

"Family stuff" I replied

"Skylar, I'm a therapist. I'm here for a reason" she said

"Well, it started when I was bored and I called my cousins and they were having family game night so I decided to ask Tyler if he wanted to play super smash or cards and he said that he was busy and that I couldn't see he was. Then today my friends came over and he was being annoying saying I have to be far apart and being annoying. I left and hung out with my friends and he gave me a hug goodbye and Tyler and Giovanni got mad and was like you know the rules and I mentioned how Anthony, my friend was going to teach me how to swim and then he was like I'll teach you but I know he was doing it out of spite" I said rambling on and on

"I know he's forced to do it because he doesn't want Anthony to teach me because he's a guy and it's stupid. Like why can't he play wii with my but teach me how to swim or even bother talking to me" I said with anger

"You're missing the presence of your father" she replied

"Or anyone for god sake. I'm always home, doing absolute nothing. Everyone is hanging out with family or siblings." I said

"How did you do it when you were with your stepfather?" She asked

"The fact that he interacted with me even if he hit me, or pushed me down the stairs or yelled at me." I said

"You're missing the interaction between someone, mostly with Tyler" she replied

"No, it's with anyone" I said

"You're bored but you seeing everyone be with family and hanging out with them, knowing you have an actual father but he doesn't have the time is making you annoyed and anger" she replied
