After saying goodbye to Adriana, I turned to Theo and narrowed my eyes.

"You're still here?"

A smile spread on his face while he pushed his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

"Dad's coming over with the young ones." He said. "Aunt Allie invited them over for dinner."

I hummed.

"Hey... you've never seen my mum and your dad Will in the same room, have you?"

"No." Theo scoffed. "Everyone knows they can't stand each other."

"Right." I nodded, a smirk spreading across my face. "But what if your dad suddenly got an invitation from my mum? Think he'd come?"

He shrugged.

"He still loves her." He said. "He always smiles when talking about the memories from when they were young."

"Right, but if he got an invitation from mum... he's come, right?"

Theo looked at me for a moment before blinking when he finally realised where I was going with this.

"They're gonna kill us, Breena."

"They can bond over our deaths." I said and grabbed his arm to drag him with me upstairs. "C'mon."

I didn't let go of his arm until we were in my room, and then I slammed the door shut behind us.

"Mum always writes with parchment and quill." I said. "I've got something somewhere."

"And what about her hand writing?" Theo asked. "My dad knows her handwriting."

I looked at him.

"I don't think he's seen her handwriting in at least twenty-three years. Plus, she's forty-three... her hand writing could've changed."

Theo got comfortable on my bed while I found a piece of parchment and my quill that I only used at school.

I sat down by my desk.

"I should start by something along the lines of; dear William. That sounds okay, doesn't it?"

"I guess... are you sure you want to do this?" He asked. "We don't know how they'll react to seeing each other. I'm guessing it won't be positive."

"Theo, stop being a dick."

"What?"

I looked at him, resting my arm over the back of my chair while smirking slightly.

"People always use pussy as the synonym for weak, when in reality a pussy can push out a baby the size of a watermelon, while a dick is really the weak genital. One kick and you're down."

Theo rolled his eyes and laid back on my bed while I went back to writing the letter for my uncle.

"Maybe I should write the letter." Theo said. "He's my dad. I know what would make him accept."

"Yeah? Well it's my mum. I know what she'd say."

He scoffed.

"Speaking off your mum. Heard her mention she gave you a job." He said. "I thought you wanted to work with your dad so you could be close to Hannah."

"I did." I told him. "But my dad said that he doesn't have any positions open and then mum offered so I accepted."

He hummed.

"Do you know what else happened?" I asked. "I found out why they've been fighting."

"Oh?"

I glanced towards Theo who propped himself up on his elbows.
