Naomi's hand felt nice.
It was warm as always and the feeling of her thumb brushing against my skin, was soothing.
We were walking down Diagon alley together and I was trying to forget about the feeling of everyone's eyes on me.
Naomi didn't think much about the people. She looked at boutique windows, her face lighting up when some rather happy children ran last, laughing.
Then she looked at me and when she noticed my lack of smile, she gave my hand a squeeze and tugged me closer to her.
Her hand left mine and instead she intertwined her arm with mine, looking at me.
"Where do you want to go?" She asked. "Are you hungry? We can go for a bite..."
"I don't know... yeah." I nodded and she smiled before leading the way around the corner and past my dad's shop until we reached a small cafe.
We ordered food and talked while we waited.
We talked about my quidditch tryouts, why I froze and what other options I had for work.
"Maybe I should just start something like my parents both did." I shrugged.
"Yeah?" She asked. "What would you start? A shop like your dad? Or a business like your mum?"
I shrugged again, but this time I didn't reply.
The drinks we ordered arrived, and after one sip, Naomi stood up.
"I'm gonna go see if they have a restroom." She told me. "I'll be right back."
I watched her walk inside. Her hips swayed slightly as she walked, which was a thing I had noticed from the very moment we met.
I loved the way she walked.
A person slid into the seat that Naomi had just sat in, and I heard the sound of the chair scraping the ground when another person sat in the third chair.
I looked at the person across from me and my mouth immediately went dry.
Ethan.
He was smiling, his head tilted and his eyes focused on me.
"Hi beautiful." Another voice spoke and I looked at the guy closest to me.
It was Tomas.
"What are you—" I was cut off as he reached under the table, grabbed onto my chair and tugged it towards him until our chairs bumped together.
"Isn't this a funny coincidence?" Ethan asked, grinning from ear to ear while Tomas threw his arm around my neck.
"What do you want?" I asked. "You followed me here, didn't you?"
Tomas ran his fingers along my jaw, and I hated it.
"Maybe we did." Ethan shrugged. "How's Alec? Still hiding out at your folks place?"
I scoffed.
"You already tried to kill him once. What possibly would you want with him?"
"Let's just say we aren't quite finished getting our point across." He told me. "I heard you and Tomas here hooked up. I'd like if I told you I wasn't slightly disappointed to hear that you fucked him before you fucked me."
I didn't reply.
"Your dad came looking for me." Tomas said, and I gulped, staring right ahead as I felt his eyes dig into my side profile. "What a shame, really. Do you normally fuck people and then go yelling rape?"
