Naomi
I was sitting on the window sill as Sabrina got ready for the tryouts. She was nervous, shaking her hands now and then which was something she did when she was absolutely shitting her pants.
She kept running her fingers through her hair, staring at the different outfits laid out in front of her on her bed.
I watched her take a step forwards and lean down to grab a shirt. She spun around, facing her mirror and held up the shirt in front of her torso.
At the same time, I reached for a cigarette and the lighter. I pushed open the window, placed the cigarette to my lips and lit it.
Sabrina looked at me.
"You quit smoking." She said, watching me inhale.
I shrugged.
"Omi..." Sabrina pouted, and I smiled, shaking my head at her expression.
I exhaled the smoke, making sure to blow it out of the window and then I put my attention back on her.
Sabrina walked over and sat down opposite of me, folding her legs. Her eyes were focused on me but she didn't say a word.
"I can't smoke?" I asked, scoffing. "You can do drugs but I can't smoke a single cigarette?"
Sabrina's eyebrows raised and then she slid off the window sill without saying anything. I sighed, resting my head back against the wall while watching her.
"I knew you were angry with me."
"I'm not angry."
"Of course you are." She said, pulling off her shirt before throwing it on the bed. She pulled on a simple quidditch tee, then started undoing her jeans.
"Alright, maybe I am." I nodded and sat up straight. I inhaled the cigarette again and after I blew the smoke out of the window, I looked at her again and continued. "You stole my money, you stole the drugs I was selling, you lied, you deceived and— though I'm not angry with you because of all of that. I am angry with you because you nearly killed yourself!
Sabrina paused and looked at me, then pulled off her jeans. She then looked down, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.
"But Breena... I'm more happy than I'm angry. You received help, you're still receiving help. You got through the worst part and now you're getting a job."
"If they want me..." she muttered.
"Of course they'll want you, Sabrina. You're one of the best Quidditch players I've seen."
Sabrina scoffed and looked at me.
"I played at Hogwarts. Professional playing is next level and I'm not sure I can keep up."
"Of course you can." I assured her. "You're amazing and they're gonna see that. They're gonna want you."
Sabrina groaned before throwing herself on her bed, hiding her face in her pillow. Her shirt rose up her back, revealing her skin.
She was wearing a thong and her legs were completely naked as she was spread out on the bed.
I continued smoking, and when I finished the cigarette, I put the butt in the ashtray before sliding off the sill.
"You don't have to be nervous." I said and joined Sabrina on the bed, brushing hair out of her face. "You're good at quidditch, and if it doesn't work out, there are many other teams."
"But these are the only ones who doesn't care that I'm an addict." Sabrina said and lifted her head to look at me.
"You don't know that..."
"Naomi, no one wants to be seen associating with a drug addict."
"Oh c'mon—"
"Nah, I'm serious." She said, turning onto her back before sitting up. "I've fucked everything up. My family is in the public eye and everyone are constantly talking about. Allie Silverberry's daughter caught up in drugs. George Weasley's daughter high at Hogwarts. I was so scared because I didn't feel like I belonged with such an amazing family, and now I've messed it all up. I've ruined my family's image."
I sat up and nudged her with my elbow, causing her to look at me.
"Your family don't give two fucks about their image." I said. "Your parents love you. They're gonna defend you against anything anyone might say... and so will I."
She leaned into me and I wrapped an arm around her while she leaned her head on my shoulder.
"They want to see you at tryouts for Holyhead Harpies, so they obviously don't care that you struggled with drugs."
Sabrina rolled over and threw an arm over me, watching my face, and I smiled while brushing my hand through her hair.
"Will you come with me?" She asked. "I need you there."
"Of course." I nodded, studying her face, her features.
Sabrina was beautiful, which was something she herself couldn't see. Her eyes were bright blue, so blue that they pierced into your soul when you looked into them.
Her nose was narrow and perfect and the ring that pierced one side, made her look almost royal.
Her lips were full, a light pink colour and when she smiled, small crinkles formed by the corners of her mouth.
Her hair currently reached a little longer than her shoulders. It was bleached blonde but the roots were her natural brown colour, and her hair was full of volume.
"What are you staring at?" Sabrina asked when she caught me staring.
I shrugged, smiling and she rolled her eyes at me, pushing herself off her bed. The tugged her shirt down but it still didn't cover her arse.
"Leggings or trousers?" She asked me, walking to her dresser.
"Shorts. Wear shorts." I said, and Sabrina hummed, thinking about it for a moment before she found a pair of black shorts, pulling them on.
"Alright, do I look like I'm ready to fight for a spot in the team?" She asked and spun around, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh Breena..."
"What?" She frowned, looking down at herself.
"You look ridiculous." I said, getting off the bed. I walked over to her, smiling as I grabbed the hem of her shirt, pulling it off. "You're not gonna show up, wearing merchandise."
Sabrina scoffed, running a hand through the side of her hair.
I walked to her dresser and found a white t-shirt that would look great with the shorts. I threw it at her and she pulled it on.
"There you go." I smiled. "Now you look ready."
Sabrina looked at herself on the mirror. She ran her hands through her hair again, watched herself and then again.
I chuckled and grabbed her hands, holding onto them behind her back.
"It's going to be fine." I assured her. "You'll smash it."
Sabrina sighed and looked down at her legs, making a disgusted face at herself.
"I'm gonna shave my legs."
