After work with mum, I decided to go and see if dad or Uncle Fred needed any help in the shop.
I needed to keep myself occupied.
Mum had assured me she was okay, but I still learned something else by visiting Grayson in Azkaban.
Adrian Pucey, the father of my best friend was one of the people helping the woman who tortured my mum and my uncle.
Sure, he also helped them get out but he was there and he helped it happen to them, and now he was hurting Adriana.
He's also a very self-observed person, naming his only daughter after himself, only adding an 'A'.
So now I was helping at the shop to keep my mind occupied so I didn't catch myself overthinking everything I was told.
Uncle Fred had shoved a box of new products into my arms and told me to go put them on the empty shelf nearest the door, so that was what I was currently doing.
I was standing on the ladder so I could reach, the box under one arm.
Hannah was working behind the register like usually, but currently James was here as well, keeping her company and it absolutely hurt to watch, so I was trying not to.
Though, Hannah was as always looking beautiful as fuck and it was almost impossible to take my eyes off of her.
The door to the shop opened, catching my attention due to the bell that rang and I looked at the man who stood there, wearing a pair of dress pants and a white dress-shirt that was tucked in.
He had his hands pushed into his pockets, scanning the shop, before his eyes landed on me.
"Excuse me, miss."
I glanced at him. He had a pretty thick accent but I couldn't put a finger on where the accent came from.
"What can I help you with, sir?" I asked, continuing to put things on the shelf.
"Could you be so kind to tell me where I could find a Mr George Weasley?"
I paused before I looked at him, then turned to look into the shop, trying to search for my dad.
"Uh, he should be in his office." I said. "It's down that hallway, then the door to the right."
"Thank you." The man smiled at me before he walked down the hallway. I kept my eyes on him as he knocked on the door.
When my dad opened, his eyes went slightly wide. The man said something and immediately dad looked to me, a slightly panicked expression on his face.
I frowned as he then quickly urged the man into his office, closing the door behind him.
"What was that all about?"
I jumped at the sound of a voice next to me, almost falling off the ladder. Luckily I regained balance but I did drop the box.
"Arresto Momentum!" I shouted, watching as the box immediately slowed down before carefully landing on the ground.
I just did a spell without the use of my wand.
A wide smell spread across my face. I had to tell mum as soon as soon as she got home today.
I put my attention on the person and I shrieked loudly, before sliding off the ladder, throwing my arms around his neck.
"I'd like to be able to breathe, Sabrina." He laughed but he still hugged me back.
"Oh, sorry." I breathed and stepped back. "What are you doing here? I haven't seen you since Christmas."
Timothy smiled as he picked up the box from the floor and handed it to me after making sure that nothing in there had shattered.
"I came to see Fred about something... I didn't expect you to be here."
Timothy isn't my uncle. He's my uncle's brother and seeing as Marco isn't my uncle by blood, Timothy isn't technically related to me — though I've always seen him as an uncle figure.
Timothy has always been by himself. He never married, never had children. He works as an Alchemist and is basically married to his job.
"I finished a shift at the newspaper and came here to help my dad and uncle with the shop."
"Ahhh, you're being productive?" He asked. "Good... you're almost eighteen. You should learn what it's like to have a job."
He patted my shoulder and I rolled my eyes while he moved past me to find Fred. I huffed before I grabbed the box and stepped back up on the ladder but before I even got to place the first product, Hannah approached me.
I simply glanced at her.
I didn't feel like getting wrapped up in even more drama regarding her relationship. I should never have even flirted with her, knowing she was with James, but it surely wasn't happening again.
"Do you need help?"
"Nope."
I could hear Hannah sigh and the first thing that entered my mind was the image of her sighing as I removed her—
Stop it Sabrina.
"James just left."
"So?" I asked. "Don't you have work to do? The register doesn't run itself."
"No, I know." she said. "But the shop isn't so busy today."
She kept standing there until I finished emptying the box, then I crawled down from the ladder and pushed it aside so it wasn't in the way for customers.
"Sabrina."
The way she says my name.
"I'm sorry I blamed you for everything when I talked to James."
"What do you mean?" I asked. "As far as I'm concerned, it was all me. You told me you were straight and in a relationship and I kept going. I apologise for that."
"Yeah," she nodded. "That's right. I'm straight. That's what I—"
"But—" I turned towards her. "...I think you should reconsider that statement. I saw the way your hair rose on the back of your neck when I told you that I could make you come better than he could."
Hannah seemed to be getting annoyed, folding her arms over her chest while she cocked an eyebrow at me.
"Did it ever cross your mind that maybe you made me uncomfortable?"
"Yeah? Then why did you save my number?"
"You—"
"And why did you call me while James was sleeping next to you?"
"Sabrina—"
"Why did you get offended when I decided to do the right thing and stop it before it got any further?"
This time she didn't try to say anything.
I smirked at her before I walked past her with the box, heading to the stockroom where I knew dad and Fred put the empty boxes so they could reuse them later.
Though Hannah was right behind me and closed the door when we were both stood in the stockroom.
I turned to look at her with a cocked eyebrow as she leaned against the door.
Before I even got to react, she walked straight towards me and ran her hand along my jaw as she pulled me down to meet her lips.
