"You're disgusting."
I laughed loudly as Naomi shoved me while we made our way down the hallway after getting dressed again.
"Why?" I teased, nudging her with my elbow and when she looked at me again, I made a 'v' around my lips and while licking the air, acting out what I had done to her.
"Sabrina!" She laughed, shoving me again and I stumbled back against the wall, pulling her with me.
Then I saw Alec as he stood in the doorway to his bedroom, leaning against the frame, and my face went pale.
I had thought everyone were out. That was the only reason why I didn't cast a silencing charm.
I kept my arm around Naomi as I looked at my brother, and after a moment, she noticed him, cleared her throat and stepped away from me.
"Why are you home?" I asked, and Alec shrugged.
"I didn't feel like spending the day with mum and dad searching Eli and Mia's flat for drugs."
They won't find any drugs there.
"You must be Naomi." Alec said. "I don't think we've formally met yet."
"And you must be the idiotic older brother." Naomi held out her hand, forcing a fake smile.
She knew about Alec and how he had let his friends treat me, so she wasn't his biggest fan.
"It's a pleasure." She said, her voice all high-pitched and fake, and I bit down on my lip to not laugh.
Alec shook her hand, then looked at me.
"Your girlfriend is feisty."
"She's not my—"
"Exactly." Naomi cut me off and I looked at her as Alec raised his eyebrows at her. "I am, and I know how you tend to act towards my girlfriend, so I'll continue being feisty until she forgives you."
Her girlfriend?
A small smile spread on her face and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Hear that, brother?" I asked and pushed my hands into the pockets of my trousers. "I've got a girlfriend and I bet I get a lot more pussy in a day than you get in a year."
I nudged Naomi with my elbow as I walked past me, and while I heard Alec sigh, Naomi followed me downstairs.
"Your girlfriend, eh?" I grinned at Naomi as we got downstairs.
She sighed and tilted her head while looking at me, silently pleading for me to not mention it.
I shook my head at her and took a step closer to her. I ran a hand to the nape of her neck, pulling her closer.
"I like that title." I whispered and kissed her quickly. "I'm gonna start telling people that you're my girlfriend."
"Is that so?" She asked. "Even Pucey? That horrible friend of yours?"
Frowning, I slowly folded my arms over my chest.
"Adriana isn't horrible."
Naomi didn't answer. She looked down while she leaned back against the wall.
"You don't realise that I know everyone talk about me?" She asked. "Including your friend. I'm the girl who murdered her parents. Naomi Barracus wasn't the victim of abuse... no, she simply murdered her own mum and dad in cold blood."
"Oh, I know everyone talk about you." I said, nodding. "But they don't know shit. Why do you care?"
"Because I do!" She raised her voice at me. "It's my entire life they are talking about, Sabrina. We live at that school and I'm constantly surrounded by people who gossip what happened that day. I hear how they call me crazy, how they advice people to stay out of my way if they want to continue being alive."
I cut her off by stepping forward, wrapping my arms around her neck, pulling her into my embrace.
"I'm sorry." I whispered. "They're all a bunch of arseholes."
She pulled away and smirked at me.
"Just kidding. I don't give a fuck." She said and winked at me before leading the way into the living room.
I stood back in the foyer, letting out a laugh as I followed her.
"Seriously?"
Naomi smirked up at me as she dropped herself on the sofa.
"You passed the girlfriend test." She grinned. "You supported me."
"You are..." I laughed and shook my head. "...so wonderful."
"I know." She shrugged. "It's my turn to pick the film by the way."
We watched a film together before we walked down to the basement where I hid Eli's weed.
Naomi dropped down onto the sofa down there, just like she had done in the living room.
"I've got a surprise." I grinned as I walked over to where I hid it.
I grabbed the bag of weed and the joint wraps, then turned towards Naomi who's eyes widened.
"Holy... crap." She cursed while slowly sitting up, putting her feet on the floor. "Where in the hell have you found that?"
I smiled.
"Eli made me hide it so mum and dad wouldn't find it at his flat." I said. "Worst decision he's ever made."
We both settled on the ground and rolled a joint each. She was the first to try it, and I watched her as her head fell back in pleasure as she inhaled for the first time.
Her eyes shut and I imagined her in my bed just a few hours ago when she was coming on my tongue.
She looked so hot. So beautiful.
When she looked at me again, her dark brown eyes met mine and the corners of her lips tugged upwards, the joint hanging loosely from her lips.
She leaned back with her hands on the carpet, running one hand through her long hair before placing it back down.
She winked at me, grabbed the joint and exhaled.
"That's so fucking good." She muttered and I smiled before placing my own between my lips. "Remind me to thank your brother."
"He's gonna fucking kill me." I laughed, inhaling.
"It'll be worth it though, won't it?"
"Oh, definitely." I nodded, closing my eyes.
For a while, we sat in silence, smoking and then suddenly, I broke into laughter while Naomi leaned against the sofa, staring through tired eyes.
"Baby..." she whined, pouting at me and I crawled across the floor, having abandoned my joint on the table.
"Omi... Omi... look." I whispered against her cheek while pointing in a direction in the room, and she followed my finger with her eyes. "The chair. It's blue. Not just blue but blue. A lot of blue."
"It's not blue." She whispered as she slowly turned her head to look at me, her nose touching mine. "It's grey."
I stared at her face for a moment, processing what she was saying and then I gasped.
"I thought it was blue!"
-
I'm tired.
I have school tomorrow and then I have to have my blood taken at the hospital.
