I don't know what came over me.

I should probably have pushed her away the second she kissed me, but instead I kissed her back.

The effect she had on me was like drugs. I got addicted the second I felt her lips against mine, and honestly... I hadn't felt softer lips.

I grasped at her jaw and heard her whimper against me as I pushed her up against one of the shelves.

I grabbed the shelf above above her head, mostly to make sure that it didn't fall over, but then I rested it there, kissing her roughly while my other hand dropped from her jaw and went to her waist.

"Wait." She broke the kiss and immediately I stepped away, removing my hands from her. She pressed her lips together as she stared at the opposite wall. "I'm sorry... I can't do this."

I shrugged.

"Why'd you kiss me?"

"Why'd you kiss back?"

I scoffed.

"You know goddamn well why I kissed you back."

Hannah sighed and ran a hand over her face while she leaned back against the shelf.

"This is bad."

"What? That you kissed your boyfriend's cousin or that you're definitely not straight?"

Hannah pushed herself off the shelves, taking a step towards me.

"You know what, Sabrina? This isn't the time—"

"No this is exactly the time!" I snapped. "You've got a boyfriend, Hannah! You just kissed a person whom you know has got a thing for you."

"You kissed back."

"Because I've liked you for two years!" I yelled, immediately deciding that maybe raising my voice wasn't a good idea. "I know I shouldn't have but fuck..."

I kicked a box on the ground, then folded my arms over my chest as I leaned against the wall.

"I'm sorry."

"Say that to James."

We looked at each other before the door to the stockroom opened, revealing Uncle Fred and Timothy.

"Well this doesn't look suspicious at all." Uncle Fred said through a heavy breath. "Hannah, there're some customers at the register."

Hannah hurried out of the room before the attention was put on me.

"What?"

"I believe your parents once had sex in here." Fred commented as he looked around the room. "I mean... haven't we all? Blake and I—"

Timothy laughed while I made a face and hurried out of the room.

"That's one way to get her out of there." Fred told Timothy before the two turned towards me again. "Bree, you do remember to use protection, right? I don't care if you are two girls... you could still catch something."

"Fred, don't embarrass her." Timothy grinned and leaned back against the doorframe.

"What? She can still catch an STD. I'm trying to make sure my niece is being safe."

"We just talked." I shrugged. "I needed to put away a box and I forgot where the stockroom was... Hannah work here so..."

"You forgot where the stockroom was?" Fred looked at me an expression saying that I was full of shit. "You basically grew up in the shop and you magically forgot?"
