Look, I'm still up.

It's 3am, I have to get up at 10 but here I am...

Yay...

-

The next day, I woke up in my bed like usual, groaning when I realised that I was no longer asleep and had to get up.

The first thing I did was reach for my phone on my nightstand but then I sighed when I saw the text from Hannah.

'Pls don't tell James'

I deleted the text before I put my phone down next to me, then sat up.

I ran both of my hands over my face and into my hair, then pulled myself to the edge of the bed.

My eyes landed on myself in my body sized mirror that stood in the nearest corner by the bed.

I placed my elbows on my knees as I stared at myself and the state I was in. It wasn't anything out of the usual.

My usual morning hair and then I was wearing my shorts and my oversized t-shirts that once again wasn't mine. It was Eli's.

I mean... what else are brothers there for? They've got comfortable clothes. I've also got a pair of his sweatpants lying around and probably also a hoodie or two.

My phone beeped, catching my attention and as I looked at it, I expected to see another text from Hannah, but instead it was from James.

'Sorry that I freaked out on you the other day. I talked to Hannah and she said it was all in a friendly manner.'

I sighed, running my fingers through my hair.

Ahhh fuck.

Of course he had to apologise now. It only made me feel ten times worse about what happened between Hannah and I in the stockroom.

She needed to tell him.

She had to.

It was only fair.

I sent a single emoji to James before throwing the phone next to me, getting up from the bed. I grabbed some clothes before walking into the bathroom I shared with Mia when she was home.

I took a quick shower before I got changed and did my hair so that it didn't look like a mess. I looked at my face for a moment, then deciding to brush my teeth now and now after breakfast.

When I finished up, I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to get something to eat, but I froze when I saw the woman sitting in a chair by the table, laughing together with mum.

Her brown hair was longer than the last time I saw her and it looked smooth, laying around her face.

She was wearing makeup, her eyeliner making her eyes look bigger. She was wearing a pair of black trousers and a black turtleneck, a few rings shown on her fingers.

Her teeth were white and straight and she held a mug in her hand while nodding to something mum was saying.

Aunt Charlotte is home.

She brushed a lock of her hair behind her ear and glanced around the kitchen, her eyes eventually landing on me, and then she paused, her lips parting while she slowly put down the mug.

"Sabrina..." a smile spread across her face as she pushed herself up from the chair. "...shit. Look at you. All grown now."

I took some fast steps towards her and she met me in a hug, squeezing the life out of me.
