Chapter 36

Alex awoke because her bed sheets were moving.

She gasped and jerked around to come face to face with Kate.

"God Kate what're you doing?!"

"sorry" she said looking around and wringing her hands together.

"I had a nightmare"

"oh" Alex said her voice softening. She raised her blankets up allowing Kate underneath.

"you ok?"

"yea, you sure it's ok if I sleep here"

"it's fine Kate, night love you"

"love you too"----------------------------

BEEP

BEEP

BEEP

Alec slung an arm out hitting the alarm clock to snooze. As she was fixing to get out of the bed an arm around her waist tightened.

"no" Kate muttered from somewhere under the blankets.

"we have to get up" Alex said laughing.

"5 more minutes" Kate whined.

"fine" Alex said snuggling back into the blankets.

"five more minutes"----------------------------------

"I'm late! Get up!" Alex yelled smacking Kate over the head with a pillow. Their five more minutes had turned into two hours.

"alright alright" Kate mumbled glaring at Alex as she shuffled out of bed and headed toward the shower. Alex quickly threw her hair up into a pony tail grabbing her nearest jeans. Grabbing her boots she fell over multiple times trying to hop and put them on.

"come on Kate!"

"coming coming" Kate said emerging from the bathroom fully dressed with her hair in a wet bun.

"good let's go"Alex said hurrying down the stairs.

"um Alex?"

"Kate not now we have to go"

"but Alex-"

"come on you can tell me in the car!"

Kate shrugged and followed her outside and into the car. She started giggling as the neighbors gave Alex weird looks.

"what is with everyone today?!" Alex huffed getting into the car and Turing the key.

"maybe they like your shirt" Kate said biting her lip to keep from laughing.

"huh?" Alex said looking down.

"OH MY GOSH" she screamed and covered her chest. Alex had walked out in nothing but jeans, boots and her hot pink bra.-------------------------

Kate giggle the whole way to school as Alex shot daggers at her through her eyes.

When they arrived at the school they chatted easily as the headed up the stairs to Luke's class room. They were laughing at an old childhood story as she opened the door.

"good morning love . Lass" said luke getting up to hug Alex and nodded over to kate.

The class was still empty so this wasn't a problem.

"so you two met at school?" Kate asked grinning.

" you didn't tell her?" like asked raising his eyebrows.

"I forgot" Alex said smacking her own forehead."there was so much going on last night"

"tell me what?" Kate asked looking confused.

As soon as Alex opened her mouth to reply the students started shuffling in. Alex grabbed her arm and they took a seat in the very back.

"what's going on Alex?"

"alright class let's get started shall we?" Luke said from the front of the class. Alex looked over at Kate to see an adorably confused expression on her face. Alex put her hand over her eyes and breathed deeply she knew it would soon click in to place.

"Alex?" Kate whispered

"hmm?"

"are you dating a teacher?"---------------------------------
