Chapter 15 (my bitch!)

Chapter 15------------------------------Alex tossed and turned in her bed that night. She usually exhausts herself until she all but falls into the bed at night. But tonight sleep evaded her. Her soft mattress and favorite pillow was doing nothing to help her tonight. Usually Alex was fine with being alone. She craved it even. She wasn't able to sleep in the same bed with someone since Lee and her break up. She couldn't Stand having a body close to her including her friends and family members. She hasn't been in romantic contact with another guy since Lee.They had broken up almost two years ago. He was her first and her last. She was absolutely petrified to get close to another guy because she knew deep in her heart he would eventually hurt her. But tonight she craved a warm body next to her. She wished she had someone to cuddle up to and kiss her forehead and tell her everything is going to be alright.

"ugh" she groaned and rolled again.

As if on cue Rambo walked into the room with a low whine.

"am I keeping you up bud?"

He whined again and laid his head on the edge of her bed. Alex patted the bed and he immediately Jumped onto the mattress and settled himself in beside her under the covers and laying his head on her pillow.

Alex laughed out loud and slung an arm around his big furry body.

"have I told you you're my favorite man?"------------------------------------Alex woke up early the next morning with Rambo sprawled across the bed. His big body preventing her from getting up.

"hey fatty move"

He let out a low growl

"fine five more minutes. But you're not laying around all day while I slave at school for our future"

He gave a huff and closed his eyes again.

Alex smiled and climbed over Rambo getting out of the bed starting to get dressed.

She chose a black and white swirl pattern dress with knee high piano key tights and black pumps.

She straightened her hair and applied smokey eyeshadow and blood red lipstick. She looked in the mirror and scrunched her nose. Reaching for the zipper on her dress to change she was stopped by the door bell.

"coming!" she yelled out and rushed to the front door. She threw open the door and was greeted by a flurry of blonde hair and arms.

"Kristen!" Alex laughed hugging the girl back

"what are you doing in town"

Kristen was Jordan's cousin and by far Alex's favorite member of Jordan's family. She was a tall bubbly blonde who always knew how to make her laugh.

Jordan was behind her smiling obviously amused at the attack.

" I'm here a few days for a visit and had to come see my bitch!"

"well im glad you did! Ive missed you" Alex laughed

Kristen pulled away to look her up and down.

"DAMN! Are you getting laid or something? You definitely look fuckable"

Alex turned red and laughed. Count on Kristen to be blunt about anything.

" no I'm not getting laid I just decided to dress up today, but I think it's a little much for school."

"heck no! You're wearing that! And you're gonna let me borrow it one day, tanner would love those tights" she said with a suggestive wink.

" uh yea I think I'll by you your own for a wedding present" she laughed

Tanner was Kristen's fiancé. They were sickenly sweet together and completely in love. Alex and Jordan were extremely happy for them both. Tanner was quiet and shy and Kristen was loud and blunt. To say they completed each other perfectly would be the understatement of the year.

Kristen got a dreamy look on her face in mention of the wedding.

" that's kind of why I'm here... This is my bachelorette weekend"

Alex's stomach dropped. She had completely forgot the wedding was coming up so soon. Which wouldn't have been a big deal If she hadn't promised Kristen she would sing a special solo for the ceremony.

"that's great "

Alex said with a forced smile. "what's on our agenda?"

"well its Friday so as soon as your outta school it's bar hopping baby!"-------------------------------------Ii
