Chapter 10 (an uninivited visitor)

Alex was going to kill her. She could already see herself squeezing Jordan's throat till her pretty blonde head popped off! Alex's hands were shaking which was causing her guitar to sound off. She took a deep breath, sent up a prayer, closed her eyes and opened her mouth.

"when I first saw you standing there you know was a little hard not to stare.

So nervous when I drove you home I know being apart's a little hard to bear. Sent some flowers to your work in hopes that I'd have you in my arms again.

We kissed that night before I left still now it's something I can never forget. You've got all that I need." alex sang the song and cracked one eye open. Everyone was completely silent for a second then the whole cafeteria went into a roar. Which caused Alex to jump and almost drop her guitar. She glanced to the back to see mr O'Grady clapping with the rest and smiling broadly. Alex quickly looked away as her face heated and set her sights on Jordan. She smiled sweetly as she jerked her outside.

"IM GONNA KILL YOU!!"

"Alex you did so good!" Jordan squeaked hugging her and bouncing up and down.

"no no no" she swatted Jordan who was still smiling like a mad man.

"I'm mad at you." Alex said sullen up

"oh Alex don't be mad you did so good!" Jordan said in a baby voice pinching Alex's cheeks.

Alex growled and snapped her teeth in the direction of Jordan's hand.

"ah! What is up with you biting people!"

"uggghhh I had almost forgot. Thank you for reminding me"

" no problem, I have to go to class see you later" Jordan said patting Alex's head which earned her another animalistic growl. Jordan giggled and skipped away to her class while Alex leaned her head against the brick wall behind her and closed her eyes.

"my life sucks"

The cafeteria door opened but Alex ignored it. Perfectly happy wallowing in her own self pity.

" that was quiet a show lexi"

Alex froze. Her blood ran cold. She even thought her heart stopped beating. She slowly raised her head and opened her eyes. Her heart had resumed its beating. Instead now it was pounding obnoxiously against her ribs.

"what the fuck are you doing here" Alex whispered coldly.

"I started school here lex no big deal" lee said holding his palms out toward her as if she was Gonna pounce on him any second.

"My name.. Is alex.. Not lexi not lex..Alex. And if you know what's good for you you'd stay away from me" Alex's whole body was shaking, her breath coming in irregular pants. Lee laughed and looked at her doubtfully.

"Alex you wouldn't hurt me."

"just Like you wouldn't hurt me right?" she sneered Laughing without humor.

"Alex I never meant-"

" you're a fucking liar lee stay away from me"

She brushed past him and saw mr O'Grady standing a few feet away no doubt listening to the entire conversation. She looked behind her seeing lee starting to follow.

"walk me to class?" Alex suggested

Saying mr O'Grady looked shocked would be the understatement of the year. But he nodded and guided her toward the English lit building.------------
