Chapter 9 (I bite)

Alex was scribbling down some lyrics in her tattered notebook when mr O'Grady walked into class.

"getting here early now are we?"he asked making his way to his desk. Alex could feel her hostility set in.

" oh I'm sorry I was just trying to be a good student and not be late" she said flashing him a cold smile.

"well now what has got your knickers in a twist lass?"

Alex felt her jaw drop and her face heat.

"you have no right what so ever to talk or even think about my...my..'knickers' you over grown leprechaun!" she yelled as she marched her way up the isle to his desk pointing her finger in his face.

"my god what Is that" he asked looking concerned pointing to something right beside alex's ear.

"what" she snapped looking around.

"there's steam coming out of your ears love"he said his voice laced with amusement.

Alex slowly turned around to face him again with her eyes narrowed. She was so annoyed she did the only thing she could think of....she bit the finger he had pointing toward her 'steaming' ears.

"OW! Me ballocks woman! Are you daft?!" he yelled holding his Injured finger.

Alex gave a satisfied smirk and made her way out the door with one last comment.

"I'm skipping"---------------------------- By the time the lunch hour Jordan and Alex were supposed to entertain rolled around Alex had cooled down And was absolutely mortified at what she had done. Alex was sitting at a table in the back quietly banging her head on her guitar case.

"what's up buttercup?" Jordan chirped sitting down beside Alex.

"I bit mr O'Grady" she groaned

"what?!" Jordan squealed jerking Alex's head up.

Jordan was wagging her eyebrows suggestively.

"Not Like that you perv!" alex said while smacking the back of her head.

"ooh" Jordan said looking slightly disappointed.

Alex quickly went over what happened with Jordan laughing till there were tears streaming down her face.

"shut up! It's not funny!" Alex grumbled and continued to bang her head.

"oh but it is." Jordan said standing and slapping Alex's arm

"come on we're up"

Without a word Alex grabbed her guitar case and made her way up to the makeshift stage. Students and faculty members of the college had put this together for students to express their creativity. There was at least three shows a week, and Jordan and Alex did about 4 a month last semester.

"hi!" Jordan chirped happily.

" I'm Jordan, this Is Alex and we're gonna sing a few songs for you today so be kind" she winked which caused a few wolf whistles and motioned for Alex to start playing.

Jordan sang 'begin again' by taylor swift as alex played and rolled her eyes. The next song was a favorite of alex. As she started to play the acustic version of 'all or nothing' by theory of a dead man Alex became aware of two things. 1. Jordan had stopped singing and had walked completely off stage staring at her expectedly. And 2. Mr O'Grady had just walked into the cafeteria and was leaning against the back wall watching her--
