Alex and Collin sat on the couch together watching Kate and Luke's argument while holding their sides laughing. They were playing a game of monopoly and Kate kept landing on Luke's property and Luke kept sending her to jail. It made Alex so happy that Kate got along with Luke. Kate was never to fond of lee and especially now she threatened to beat him next time she seen him.

"if you touch my hair I'll murder you" Kate yelled as Luke got her in position for a noogie.

"ugh Collin!" Kate yelled.

"should I help her?" Collin said turning to Alex.

"if you ever want another kiss again you will help me now!" Kate yelled.

"uh oh alright coming love!"

Collin tackled Luke which made Kate fall over as well and they all three ended up in a heap on the floor.

Alex fanned her face and gulped for air as she rocked back and forth with tears in her eyes.

"can't breath! Can't breath!" she exclaimed laughing even harder.

"what on earth is going on out here?" said ms Jen coming out into the living room. She had on her nightgown and an old terry cloth robe over it. Her brown curly hair was in a messy aray Around her head. Alex glanced at the clock and realized it was almost midnight.

"oh I'm sorry mum the game got a little carried away"

"sorry aunt Jen!" Collin piped from somewhere under Luke.

"alright boys time for bed and Luke get off the poor girl she can't breath."

"oh! Sorry lass!" Luke said getting up off the floor and hauling Kate to her feet.

"over grown leprechaun." Kate mumbled.

"don't start taking your sisters insults lass you're more creative than that"

"time for bed boys" said Jen giving them a stern look.

Kate reluctantly gave Luke a grin as he pulled her into a brotherly hug.

"night lassie"

Luke walked over and hauled Alex up off the couch and into his arms.

"good night love. I'll see you on the morrow"

"goodnight my Irish charmer. I love you."

"I love you too baby"

"good night beauty" Collin said grinning sheepishly at Kate.

"goodnight" Kate said blushing.

"can I have a good night kiss?"

Alex cleared her throat And Collin smiled and kissed Kate's forehead.

"till tomorrow beauty"

Alex watched as Kate and Collin made their way to their separate rooms.

"I know you've slept in the same beds before but I'm just an old fashion lass I guess." said Jen looking sheepish.

"it's fine mum."

"yes ms Jen it's not problem"

"well I'm off to bed dearies. Tomorrow I expect a play by play of how you two met" she said clapping her hands excitedly and scurried off to bed.

Luke looked after her chuckling and turned back to Alex.

"I'll miss you tonight."

"I'll miss you too. But Kate is like a personal heater so I'll live."

"well Collin is a huge snuggler so I'm not sure if I will"

Alex laughed out loud and buried her face in his chest for one last hug.

"see you in the morning"

"counting the hours"
